Sheryl drive so slowly as if driving slowly would make her not to arrive but she did arrive. She station her car in front of the gate a big white house.
She doesn't come from a rich family and has always wanted to live in such a house, with maid serving her, with her private closet with the latest collection inside from famous brand. She had dream of grandeur and worked all through her life to reach it.
The house had everything she ever dreamed of in her house even the design was the same, the first time she had being there, she was flabbergasted but she remembered that once upon a time Liam and hers were friend and she used to tell him about her dream house. What amaze her the most was that he still remember about it and built a house to it resemblance. What she had always wish was being given to her but for her it didn't worth it if it was just given to her like that plus she didn't want to take anything coming from him.
A guard came to the car who just stop in front of the gate "can I help you" he asked hitting the window glass.
Sheryl scrolled down the car window and remove her sun glass. She had no words to say, immediately he saw who it was he rush to open the gate. How can he fail to recognise the lady boss? Excited he sent a message inside that she arrived.
Sheryl drove in and immediately she stop the car, a group of men came out of the house and surrounded her car, as if afraid that she would ran away.
Sheryl rolled her eyes, if she wanted to escape she won't have come in the first place, for her it was exaggerated.
The men in front of her car gave a way and Liam step in, he rush out immediately he heard she arrived. Seeing his men surrounding her car, he was pleased by the arrangement and nodded to Brian standing behind the group of men before stabbing in the circle. His heart was bouncing of happiness, his woman was finally here, right in front of him. God, he missed her so much, he control the foolish happy smile who want to come on his face, he tried hard to keep his serious face in front of his men but God he was so happy, his love was back in his arms.
He attempt ridiculously fail as his men could imagine how much he was happy of her return, he was all reckless since she left, they were happy for him.
Sheryl tighten her grip on the car wheel, seeing him again resurface feeling she doesn't want to remember. She hate him so much, he was the cause of greatest pain of her life, and she would never forgive him of what he did to her. How can he say he love her when he was the cause of her father death, the person she loved the most in the world.
She breathe out, calming herself down. When she calm her nerve, she climb down the car. When the car door open, Liam heart squeeze in anticipation to see her again.
For a whole month he didn't see her but here she was, standing in front of him. His eyes open in bewilderment, she was breath taking, he couldn't remove his eye from her, and she was as beautiful as he remember, no more beautiful. She was dressed in a black short letting in view her long slime brown skin legs and a white top giving the perfect view to her cleavage, she paired it with a red pair boot ankle. She had her naturally curled black hair straighten and complete the look with a red cap on her head, she was gorgeous. The men had their mouth drop, they knew about their lady boss beauty but seeing her again after a long time, they couldn't help but drool seeing her. It wasn't for nothing she was an A list model, one among the most paid model in the country.
Liam shot them a glare and they all deviate their eyes, they looked everywhere but her. They weren't foolish like Alfred who has being seduce by her beauty and commit the unforgivable, they value their life too much to risk it on someone who were out of their league. Sheryl walked to him, in all elegance as if she was on a runaway, as if her legs didn't touch the ground. Liam was mesmerized by his woman beauty.
"Where is he?" she asked immediately she was close to him. Liam frown, the first thing she say after being apart for a month is too asked for another man? His face darken.
Sheryl didn't care about him, what matter to her was to know that Alfred was save and sound. She looked around but didn't found him.
"Where is Alfred, Liam!" she start to worry, hoping he didn't break his promise and did something to him. Liam displeasure turned into anger. He didn't like to see her worry about another man but him. She was his woman, she didn't have the right to look at other man.
Getting no responds from Liam, she by passed him. She would find him herself, she though as she walked to the house but was stop by two huge men who stood in front of her.
"Tell your dogs to move away" she commanded and snapped to him he was standing behind her.
She looked at him for the first time since she came. He didn't change a little bit, she thought, handsome as always. He was dressed simply in a shirt and a trouser but his charisma couldn't be miss. He had that aura who scream respect that couldn't be ignore. His had a fair brown skin litter than hers and brown eyes, they eyes she used to love so much. In the past it always glitter but since he came back it was so cold and dark.
Liam took large step to her, Sheryl unconsciously took a step back. He grabbed her wrist and pull her to him, she felt I his arms. She immediately distant herself as soon as her body came in contact with his, hurting him even more. His men immediately turn, giving them privacy.
"How dare you ask of a man in my presence" he said adding pressure on her wrist, she flinched.
"You are hurting me" she pulled her hands out of his grip, and rubbed it.
"What else were you expecting, I came here for him and hope you did nothing to him" she warned and turned to leave but was again stop by his men
"Liam" she called. His men looked at their boss asking what to do, when he nodded they let her go. She storm in her house with Liam following behind her.
"Where is he?" she asked looking around, even if she have to search in all the room of the house she would.
"Liam, I promise if you did..."
"At the maid quarter" Liam said before she finish her sentence hating the feeling in his heart seeing how concern she was looking why searching for another but there again what were he waiting for? For her to jump in his arms when she arrive? He knew very well she wants to have nothing to do with him and has to blackmail her with someone life for here to come. He clench his fist, why can't she love him like she used to?
