Aaron was seen with Genta at the Weekend base. Genta's face was a mix of gratitude and determination as he looked at Aaron.
"Thanks for helping me out, Aaron," Genta said earnestly.
Aaron shrugged nonchalantly. "Don't fret it. You want to defend your family, and I don't mind helping you with that."
Aaron's mind drifted back to when Genta had first approached him, asking for help to get in shape for the fight against Vail. The memory of Genta's desperation and resolve stood out vividly.
Flashback
Genta was panting heavily, hands on his knees, as he struggled to catch his breath. They had just finished a grueling run from his house to the mall, and it was clear Genta was out of shape.
"I... I realized... I've lost my touch," Genta had confessed between gasps for air. His face was flushed, and his muscles quivered with exhaustion. "I need to be strong enough to protect my family."
Aaron had studied him for a moment, recognizing the same drive he had seen in countless others. But something in Genta's eyes, a fierce determination born of love and duty, struck a chord within him.
"Alright," Aaron had said finally. "Let's get you back in shape."
Time skip a few hours.
Something that Genta had recognized over the following hours with Aaron was for one, this man's stamina seemed endless, they were both doing the same exercises, and even though Aaron was clearly opting to do the more optimal variation of each exercise and hardest version of each exercise.
He was fine, he was sweating for sure but he was nowhere near the same as he was.
He seemed like he had just finished a mild workout at best.
Meanwhile, he was currently on the floor gasping for air, his lungs felt like they were on fire, and he was drenched in his own sweat.
His body was shaking vigorously, every single bone in his body felt like they were on the cup of breaking.
He could feel it, he could feel as if he was extremely close to death.
This also made him see the other side of this teenager helping him get into shape.
Aaron had teased him mercilessly about it. "Man, you were panting like a dog in a heatwave. I half-expected you to start barking for water." He'd laughed at Genta's exasperated expression.
"But hey, we all start somewhere. Besides, helping you get in shape does help me get in some light exercises, I haven't fully worked out in a while"
Genta's brow seemed to furrow as he heard Aaron's words, he wondered what could this teenage boy work out to be.
"What do you do...as a workout?" He asked looking at the teen.
Aaron's face lit up with an exaggerated, almost cartoonish enthusiasm. "Oh, you know, the usual. I start with a morning run—about ten miles, give or take—while dodging traffic to keep it interesting. Then I hit the gym for some weightlifting, but I only use the heaviest dumbbells. After that, I do some parkour around the city, scaling buildings and jumping from rooftop to rooftop. And for the grand finale, I wrestle with a grizzly bear. It's great for cardio."
Genta stared at Aaron, mouth agape. The teen's face was completely serious as if everything he said was the most normal thing in the world.
"You're joking, right?" Genta asked, hoping for some sign of humor in Aaron's expression.
Aaron shook his head, his face still earnest. "Nope. It's all about pushing your limits, you know? Gotta keep things fresh. Plus, the bear wrestling really helps with flexibility."
That was a half lie, to be fair he didnt lie about having to run 10 miles while dodging, however, he wasn't dodging traffic as much as he was dodging bullets being shot at him or fast-moving projectiles inside the very technologically advanced place known as his training room.
However, Genta did not need to know that, the parkouring part wasn't a lie, he did that daily, parkouring from building to building is fun.
Plus he gets to feel the wind hitting him on his face as he does so, it's a very fun experience once you get used to it.
"A Grizzley..." Were the words that left Genta's mouth.
"My morning routine includes...waking up, taking a shower and brushing my teeth, eating, and then as soon as I step outside my house, I get swarmed by 100 of pussies, sometimes I shove my rod through them, sometimes I just watched as they get a zap.
Sometimes they get wet and just seem to fall, all in all, I do spend fucking a bunch of pussies"
Genta look at Aaron, and Aaron look back at Genta as if this sentence did not just leave his mouth.
Aaron saw the man's eyes, it was as if the man was telling him to say.
"Say Sike right now"
As if he was just waiting for him to say, he was lying.
"You...speaking about the Gifterian...right"
"I mean duh, what else could it be?" Aaron said with an innocent face.
