Aaron's eyes went toward Hiromi's pod and he saw it, the man's eyes twitched.
He could see it there as clear as day, Hiromi was coming back alive and well.
Granted this man just had like 60 years drained out of his body and then placed back in there but he should be fine, for the most part at least.
His body movement seemed normal, his heart was beating at the age a man his age should be and not an 80-year-old man.
One thing that might be missing was the fact that he still hadn't regained consciousness in all of this time.
"Still nothing?" Miyuki's cold voice interrupted his thoughts. She stood at the entrance, her presence commanding attention even without trying that was a princess for y'all.
Something he had noticed was the fact that the air was cooler around them, yeah this was 100% due to her.
"No," Aaron replied, not turning to look at her. "His body is functioning, but his mind... it's like he's in a deep sleep."
Was this perhaps what happens when someone ages quickly and regains back their age, it was weird.
Miyuki approached, her expression as frosty as ever. She peered at Hiromi, her eyes narrowing slightly. "What do you plan to do?"
Huh, she was interested in his plan, that was a first.
Aaron ran a hand through his hair, feeling like he was underpaid for this.
'You don't get paid at all'
"I'm not sure. His body is fine, but something is keeping him from waking up. It could be psychological, or it could be something else entirely."
It was 100% psychological, that he was sure of, having Vail fucking his body like that did him no good.
Miyuki crossed her arms, her gaze never leaving Hiromi. "Have you considered the possibility that his mind is trapped somewhere?"
Aaron looked at her, his yellow eyes meeting her icy blue ones. "Trapped? You mean, like a mental block or...?"
"Something like that," she replied, her tone distant. "People can endure a lot of physical trauma and recover, but the mind... the mind is much more fragile."
She sounded like she was speaking from experience, that was very good to know
Aaron nodded his head slowly. "I'll look into it. Maybe there's something I am missing."
He said with a thoughtful look as he set the machine to look for the remnant of Vail essence on Hiromi's body.
Miyuki's expression softened ever so slightly, a rare occurrence. "You should rest. Pushing yourself too hard won't help Hiromi."
"Since when did you care so much about me?"
Aaron had a questionable look on his face as he looked at Miyuki.
"If you are burned out, you will not be able to fight at your best," she added. He nodded his head. So that was what she cared for if he could manage to fight like this. He sighed to himself. Yeah, he should have expected this.
An alarm rang off. Aaron's eyes went toward the camera where he noticed Vail rapidly approaching Yukimi's position.
"He is a very impatient demon," Aaron sighed to himself as he realized this demon was out for blood.
"I can get rid of him if you would like," Miyuki's look stayed the same as it always was—cold and unchanging just like the rest of her people.
"No, I have something set up for this," Aaron added with a sigh. It felt nice knowing he had backup plans.---Yukimi was seen shopping for groceries. She thought of her daughter and how she was currently acting."She needs to be a bit more open with her feelings." Yukimi remembered the face of her daughter as she was saying Aaron was not to be trusted. She could tell Sakura was lying to herself. She had noticed it throughout the whole dinner.
She had noticed the way that Sakura was looking at him at the dinner. She could clearly tell two conflicting emotions were going on inside her daughter's head. Sakura was not like this usually. Yukimi, however, left it to her daughter to resolve the inner turmoil that was currently happening inside of her.
She was sure that her daughter would see reason. She could spot when her daughter was feeling a certain way, and as things stood right now, her daughter had developed a crush that she was trying to deny.
"I hope she doesn't wait too long and regret it."Upon saying those words, she looked up and saw Vail looking at her. In his hand, the six guards that were supposed to guard her lay there, lifeless."We meet again!"
Vail had a smile on his face as he approached her. He was ready to turn her into a crispy cream donut. Yukimi's fight-or-flight response activated, and she dashed away from the villain. She knew she stood no chance and thus aimed to run as far away as she could.
Vail chased Yukimi down with a crazy grin plastered all over his face, his eyes were gleaming with a malevolent look. He enjoyed the fear that was coming from her as she fled through the crowded streets.
He loved this, he would make sure to cut her into a thousand pieces.
Upon noticing a demon in the streets, people screamed at the top of their lungs and scattered in every single direction as Vail continued his little carnage.
He slaughtered anyone that dared get close to him making sure to paint the pavement red with their blood.
Vail laughed like a maniac as he noticed the fear on Yukime's face, he would rip her to shreds, and he would send her head as a present to Genta to rile him up.
This was fun.
"You can run, Yukimi, but you can't hide!" Vail taunted, his voice was dripping with a sadistic glee. "Killing you will bring Genta right to me. He won't be able to ignore me this time!"
Vail was obsessed with the idea of killing the man that had once abandoned him, this was now his only goal in life.
He would murder Genta even if it cost him his life.
As Yukimi ran, she started to realize that she was getting tired, Vail was making her run in a circle and never actually allowed her to get any closer to safety.
She could feel her heart beating in her chest. She could hear Vail's footsteps growing louder and louder behind her.
She could hear the sound of many innocent people being slaughtered right behind her.
Before she could even realize it, she felt Vail's grip on the back of her head.
"Any last words"
Vail said with a sadistic smile on his face as he started crushing her neck with his hand.
".y..w...r.....t..."
"Sorry, I can't hear you"
Vail replied as he slowly started to crunch her throat.
Before Vail could fully crush Yukimi's neck, 2 pairs of feet landed on his chest causing the demon to be sent flying back.
"Yukimi-san, run to safety!" A voice was heard saying, urgency present in its voice.
Yukimi looked up to see, Tamaki and Hikaru.
She seemed like she was going to ask them about them but they just replied.
"As long as you are alive, that is all that matters, we are kamen riders, our job is to protect the civilians so please run to safety"
"As If!"
Vail's voice was heard saying as he rushed toward them aiming to end this quickly, however, and he received a devasting kick to his chest which caused him to stagger back a bit.
"Entry."
"Zombie. Ready, fight."
"Ninja. Ready, fight."
A/N....I wonder where they got those buckles?
