Pov change.
In what seemed to be a Fenix-owned area, a bunch of fenix guards were seen posted up, with Daiji being infront of them all.
Even though his wound had healed he still wore his bandage as he did not feel like the wounds had healed enough.
He seems to have a determined look on his face, no matter what happens today he will make sure that his plan works, even if it costs him his life.
He will lay his life on the line to save the earth, and Ikki won't be the only one risking it all anymore, if he succeeds here the world will know the truth and maybe this was what they needed.
He was also doing this in order to save Akemi, he truly wanted to save her, but as things stood right now, he was just way too weak to do anything about it.
He hated himself for that part, being so weak that he couldn't do shit.
Watching as Akaishi walked onto the stage and started doing his speech, Daiji felt the anger in his veins boiling to the surface.
He had to do this here and now, this would be his only chance and he will not blow it.
Akaished started to go on a speech about how everything was useless against Gifu, that all the technology that humans were so proud of was proven useless against Gifu.
Even their protectors the kamen rider were proven to be utterly useless against the might of Gifu.
Long and short of it, he was doing his favorite thing in the world, which was to glaze Gifu to no end.
The amount of glaze was insane.
He then started to talk about how Fenix after careful consideration had decided that humanity should bow down to Gifu and serve him instead of trying to resist him, as all resistance against Gifu would be proven to be quite useless.
As those words left his mouth, Daiji jumped onto the stage saying "Wait!"
He then walked toward the podium and walked infront of the mike before saying "This man is lying, he is...."
Before the words could fully escape Daiji's lips, from behind him a red-skinned demon was seen. The demon then proceeded to punch Daiji away sending him crashing onto the floor.
Daiji stood back up and noticed that Akaishi was next to him.
"You need to protect me," Akaishi said which caused Daiji to raise his eyebrow.
What was this man talking about?
"I saw through your little plan" Akaishi revealed as Daiji seemed to be stunned.
"Transform," Akaishi said as Daiji finally realized the situation that he had gotten himself into...before he could reveal the secret he was attacked, and as he was supposed to be the main person defending this event if Akaishi got hurt he would get blamed for everything.
As things stood, Akaishi was still in the public eyes, the director of Fenix, and Daiji could probably seen as an employer that was acting out.
His justice wouldn't do him any good in this scenario, he had to protect this man against the demon.
Daiji looked to be frustrated much to Akaishi's delight, this was not part of his plan.
Daiji and the demon were then seen fighting, trading blows against each other...
Daiji however felt that something was off, the more he fought this demon the more he felt like it was familiar to him, though he couldn't put his finger on it.
He dug deeper within his own mind trying to find who it was before it hit him.
"Akemi" Daiji managed to say as the demon punched him in the gut with an enormous amount of power.
Daiji's body was seen flying back only stopping because Daiji had hit a wall with enough force to create a very large crater within the walls.
Daiji's vision flickers a bit...what kind of blow was that?
Why did he feel like his actual body was hurt...Daiji's body then fell to the floor.
'why is it so strong' Daiji thought to himself as his kamen rider transformation wore off, his eyes slowly looked up at the demon walking toward him and he noticed it.
An ominous aura was seen all around her body as if she was being buffed.....
Why did she have to look so demonic, frustration appearing all over the young adult's face...why...why....why couldn't he protect anyone?
As the demon approached Daiji, he felt frustrated, before the demon could reach him, however, Sakura appeared infront of him in what seemed to be a defensive stance.
"Daiji you alright" Sakura asked, not taking her eyes off the demon...Daiji did not answer.....

Why did he have to keep getting saved over and over again, frustration appeared all over Daiji's face as he was seen gritting his teeth.
Sakura however seemed to have not noticed that as she was already in the middle of transforming.
The demonic beast rushed toward Sakura and the two started fighting.
Sakura threw a punch aimed at the creature's chest and watched in what seemed to be shock as her fist went straight through the creature, she felt nothing there...
'what' she thought confused....though before she could get to wonder why her fist just phased through her opponent, a powerful blow was landed on her left side.
Sakura's eyes widened a bit....it hurt, why did it feel like her actual body took a lot of damage from that blow?
Saura gritted her teeth before throwing a kick aimed at the creature's head and surprisingly the kick landed.
'huh'
The red skin demon then jumped toward Sakura its body enveloped in her red aura...Sakura skillfully dodged the strike of the creature.
She then proceeded to use the creature's own momentum against it and try to kick the creature in the face, however, her kick went straight through the creature as if it wasn't there.
The creature then tried to kick Sakura but with Sakura's fast instinct, she was able to react in time and block placing her arm up to defend herself.
The kick however never landed as the creature kick phased through Sakura's block before hitting Sakura straight in the face.
*Crack*
Daiji watching this from afar felt frustrated. No, why were they losing....and why was he just helplessly sitting on the floor watching as it all went down?
"Get up," He said telling his body to get up but it just wouldn't, his body just wouldn't get up.
He wanted to fight, he wanted to join his sister.....
His eyes landed on his hand.....was he shaking....
Oh.....nothing changed....he still was the same coward he was back then.
Akaishi looked at Daiji from afar and watched the color drain from his face.
"That it, despair more, because only in despair can you see the truth"
