Chapter 152 - The defeat of Aguilera {61}

As Aaron watched Sakura and Aguilera spar, he furrowed his brow with concern. Their intense emotions made him uneasy. He wondered if Sakura was finally making progress in breaking Aguilera's creepy obsession with him, but it was hard to tell. The fight continued with a flurry of kicks and punches that seemed to be driven more by emotions than strategy.

Aaron's attention turned to Sakura's gloved hands, which he had filled with energy at her request. She had asked for enough energy to deliver one powerful blow that could potentially sever Aguilera's connection to her inner demon. Despite his earlier joking, Aaron understood the gravity of the task at hand. This was not a simple sparring session, but a calculated attempt at a spiritual exorcism with serious consequences.

As the fight moved deeper into the arena and out of sight, anticipation grew within Aaron. He wondered if Sakura's attack would be enough to break Aguilera's fixation or if his obsession would overpower even the purest energy blast.

The area was filled with the sound of powerful kicks and the hiss of displaced air. Aaron winced as he watched Sakura and Aguilera exchange blows. Although both women were skilled fighters, it was clear that Sakura had the upper hand. She moved around Aguilera's aggressive attacks, her movements a controlled whirlwind of fury.

Aguilera, driven by raw emotion rather than strategy, telegraphed her attacks with a flourish. Sakura took advantage of these openings, dodging the wild swings and landing precise counter-attacks. A swift roundhouse kick hit Aguilera's shoulder, causing her to grunt in pain.

Aguilera responded with a desperate lunge, her demonic form flickering momentarily around her. However, Sakura anticipated the move and used a well-timed slide to slip under Aguilera's grasp. She then sprang up behind her opponent and delivered a sharp elbow strike to Aguilera's spine. Aguilera gasped in pain as she stumbled forward, temporarily losing her balance.

Seeing his opportunity, Sakura seized the moment. With a lightning-fast movement, she unleashed a punch aimed directly at Aguilera's gut. But this was no ordinary strike. Her fist glowed with an intense yellow light, the concentrated energy pulsing visibly. It was the culmination of all the power Aaron had infused into the gloves.

The blow landed with a sickening thud, a shockwave rippling outwards from the point of contact. Aguilera's eyes widened in surprise, a strangled cry escaping her lips. For a split second, her demonic form flickered more intensely, a last desperate surge before dissipating entirely.

Aaron watched, momentarily stunned, as the yellow light faded from Sakura's fist. The demon, the physical manifestation of Aguilera's twisted desires, was gone. But in its place, a look of raw vulnerability bloomed on Aguilera's face. Tears welled up in her eyes, spilling over and tracing glistening tracks down her pink cheeks.

"I... I have nothing left," she choked out, her voice trembling.

Sakura, her expression filled with a newfound softness, crouched down to Aguilera's level. Gently, she wrapped her arms around the sobbing woman. "You have me," Sakura whispered, her voice soothing and strong.

The scene unfolding before him was a stark contrast to the brutal fight that had just transpired. It was a moment of unexpected tenderness, a flicker of hope breaking through the darkness.

Aaron, ever the pragmatist, couldn't help but disrupt the tender scene. He strolled towards them, hands nonchalantly shoved in his pockets. "Neat, can y'all kiss already?" he quipped, a mischievous glint in his eye.

The playful comment shattered the emotional bubble. Sakura shot him a withering glare that could curdle milk. "Not the time, Aaron," she hissed, her voice laced with annoyance.

Aaron chuckled, feigning innocence. "What, y'all are both on your knees, hugging on the floor. Scuse me for getting ideas," he said with a shrug, a playful grin plastered on his face.

From a shadowed corner of the training room, Akaishi watched the scene unfold with a predatory gleam in his crimson eyes. His gaze lingered on Aaron, a flicker of something akin to disgust twisting his features. Behind him, Gifu stood silently, his face an unreadable mask.

This Aaron, this infuriating wildcard, was a thorn in Akaishi's meticulously crafted plan. The man's unorthodox fighting style and his sharp tongue, particularly his crude dismissal of Akaishi's offer, were like a wrench thrown into delicate machinery.

"IF you want to suck on Gifu dick you do you, but my name isn't Ziin, so sorry i will not get on my knees and dick ride Gifu with you, i am sure you are contempt with getting his meat to yourself" the memory of Aaron's words clawed at Akaishi's pride. The insolence! The audacity to reject him, and in such vulgar terms! Here was a man who didn't revere him, who didn't see him as the prophesied savior. He was a loose cannon, and loose cannons had a nasty habit of causing unintended explosions.

Akaishi narrowed his eyes further. This couldn't stand. Aaron, with his unpredictable nature and rebellious spirit, was a liability. He had to be dealt with, and soon. A slow, cruel smile spread across his lips. He wouldn't resort to brute force – not yet, at least. He would manipulate the situation, use Aaron's own unorthodoxy against him. He would turn him into a pawn, a pawn he could ultimately sacrifice without a shred of remorse.

A plan began to take shape in his mind, a web of deceit and manipulation designed to ensnare the ever-unpredictable Aaron. The game had just begun.
