Time skip a few days...
Aaron against his better judgment decided to make the ice princess stay with him because if he had to choose between letting her loose or having his life threatened 24:7, he much rather the latter as letting her loose would be a lot of shit he had to take care of.
Plus that was technically his fault, he had a rough idea on how she managed to found him even after he had faked his death.
It was simple really...she probably watched his fight with Suel live...from what he could tell that fight was popular.
He technically never left this universe as it was connected to Mitsume world so she probably tracked him down and found him that way.
A shiver ran down his spine as the room temperature plunged. Glancing around, he spotted Miyuki, her brow furrowed in what might have passed for concentration on another being. "Jeez, Miyuki," he sighed, "when I said cool down, I didn't mean literally cool us down." He punctuated his sentence with a forced chuckle that fell flat in the frosty air.
"Miyuki," she corrected him, a hint of frustration lacing her voice. Apparently, "ice princess" was no longer the preferred term.
"Right, Miyuki," he conceded, mentally filing away the new information. "Look, I get it. You're not exactly thrilled with the whole 'engaged to a human' thing. But can we maybe skip the whole 'eliminate me' phase?"
Miyuki's expression remained glacial. "As long as you remain alive," she said, her voice devoid of warmth, "I am bound by our traditions."
Aaron groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Why in the world do your people even cling to such archaic customs?"
"Don't you dare disrespect my heritage, human," Miyuki snapped, a sliver of ice manifesting in her hand, forming a menacing blade.
"Well, your heritage is the reason you're stuck with a human in the first place!" Aaron retorted, his own frustration bubbling to the surface. He couldn't help but goad her a little, a childish defense mechanism against the absurdity of the situation.
"How delightful," he continued, a sardonic smile playing on his lips, "the prospect of a human 'piping you down.'" The words hung in the air, laced with a deliberate vulgarity.
The ice blade wavered, the tip mere inches from his cheek before deflecting harmlessly. A thin red line, a testament to his close call, welled up on his skin.
"My hand slipped," Miyuki muttered, her voice laced with a barely concealed fury.
Aaron stared at her, a mixture of exasperation and amusement warring within him. "Seriously? This is what I have to deal with now?" He sank back onto the couch, burying his face in his hands. "What have I done to deserve this?"
Miyuki entered the room, a flurry of swirling white fur and an air of frosty entitlement. Her steps echoed on the hardwood floor, each one a pronouncement of her displeasure.
"Human," she addressed Aaron, her voice as cold as the ice she wielded, "explain why the temperature in this dwelling is so... tepid."
Aaron, sprawled on the couch flipping through channels on a battered TV, barely glanced up. "Tepid, huh? Sounds like someone needs a vacation to the tropics." He punctuated his sentence with a sarcastic chuckle.
Miyuki's lips thinned. "Do not mock me, human. This... warmth is intolerable."
Aaron finally tore his gaze from the TV, a playful glint in his eyes. "Well, princess," he drawled, milking the word for emphasis, "tough luck. This is Earth, and us humans tend to prefer our dwellings not resembling giant ice cubes."
Miyuki bristled. "I am not a princess. And for your information, Cryosians thrive in much colder climates."
"Right, because who needs sunshine and beaches when you can have perpetual frostbite?" Aaron quipped, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Silence!" Miyuki's voice cracked with a touch of desperation. "This situation is entirely your fault. If you hadn't... interfered..."
"Interfered?" Aaron cut her off, his voice dripping with mock innocence. "Is that what you call beating you in a fair and square fight? Sounds a bit sore-loserish to me, 'princess.'"
Miyuki's face contorted in a snarl that would have sent shivers down the spine of a lesser man. "There was nothing fair about that duel! You humans and your... unorthodox fighting techniques!"
Aaron threw his head back and let out a hearty laugh. "Unorthodox? Sounds like someone needs a lesson in good old-fashioned human ingenuity." He winked at her, a playful challenge in his gaze.
Miyuki, fuming, crossed her arms and glared at him. She may have been trapped on this wretched planet with a human who delighted in getting under her skin, but she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing her truly defeated. This was a battle of wills, and Miyuki, the princess of a proud Cryosian lineage, would not break so easily.
The playful banter evaporated from the room, replaced by a sudden chill that had nothing to do with Miyuki's Cryosian abilities. Aaron leaned forward, his eyes locking onto hers with an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine. The flippant sarcasm was gone, replaced by a steely resolve that glinted with a dangerous edge.
"There's only one rule you follow while you're on Earth, Princess," he stated, his voice low and cold. "If you even think about hurting the Igarashi family, there will be consequences."
The casual nickname was gone, replaced by a formal address that spoke volumes. This wasn't a playful jab, this was a warning. The room fell silent, the weight of his words hanging heavy in the air.
Miyuki met his gaze defiantly, her chin held high. "And what will you do, human?" she countered, her voice laced with a disdainful sneer. "Murder those... 'worthless humans' as you so delicately put it?"
Aaron's smile vanished. For a fleeting moment, a flicker of crimson flashed in his eyes, a glimpse of a power he usually kept hidden. It was a silent promise, a predator baring its fangs. "Let's just say," he said, his voice a low growl, "I'll return you to your precious parents in a body bag. Got it?"
The threat hung in the air, heavy and undeniable. Miyuki knew, with a chilling certainty, that he wasn't bluffing. This human, this infuriating, infuriatingly charming human, was capable of terrible things. She looked away, her bravado momentarily deflated. Crossing her arms, she mumbled a sullen, "Fine," the word laced with a grudging acceptance.
Aaron allowed himself a satisfied smirk. "Glad we have an understanding, Princess." The warmth of his smile didn't quite reach his eyes, a silent reminder of the precarious balance they now maintained.
That was a pain in his ass to deal with but he could handle it as long as nothing more just want to fuck him in the ass.
Pov change
Underneath Ikki's neighbor's house, something seems to be happening in Sakura seem to be present, however, this was a problem that will come butting Aaron in the ass later for now.
He had enough on his plate.
A/N...so yeah...one more thing for him to worry about....he can handle it he is a capable man after all.
