Chapter 99 - Igarashi appreciation {16}

Raion was seen fighting a bunch of that brachiosaurus, as Daiji was sending a lot of them toward him.

"Give me Daiji back," Ikki said looking at Kagerou.

"Why should I Onii-sama, I am in control"Kagerou said looking at Ikki.

"Sorry to tell you but Daiji gone, I have already broken him apart and there is nothing you can do to bring him back"Kagerou said looking at Ikki.

"You are lying, I refuse to believe it"Ikki said as he pull out the Rex stamp and Kagerou pulled out the bat stamp.

They both said Henshin at the same time as they faced off.

Double teaming him and hopping to bring Daiji back.

Kagerou took the hits before saying.

"I can feel the pain, this mean this body is now mine" Kagerou then punched Vice away after saying those words.

"Can you feel this though" A familiar voice said as Kagerou eyes widen his eyes opening wide as he felt a foreign energy invading his body?

As he turn around he saw Raion looking at him and smiling.

"Hurt doesn't it"

"Fuck....."Kagerou yell out as his body became surrounded in a yellow glow as an unholy shriek was heard coming from him.

Rain looked at Ikki before saying "the rest up to you"

Ikki nodded before approaching Daiji.

"Daiji!, can you hear me!? It's Me!"Ikki said as he approached Kagerou.

"Stay away from me" Kagerou screamed out holding his head a bit in pain

He then started to attack Ikki over and over again.

"Dont worry Daiji, I will free you no matter what"Ikki said as he hugged his brother.

He completely ignored the relentless hit that Daiji was unleashing on his gut.

"Everyone is waiting for you Daiji"Ikki said to which Kagerou replied

"You make me sick, Onii-sama"

As Kagerou try to hit Ikki again he stopped as another voice was heard saying "Stop it"

Ikki watched it seemed as if 2 people were fighting over control, one was Daiji the other one was Kagerou

Ikki's gaze shifted, observing the internal struggle within Daiji. The two conflicting voices seemed to wage a silent war, each vying for control over Daiji's actions and emotions.

"Stop it," the voice echoed again, a plea for cease-fire. Ikki, sensing an opportunity for intervention, spoke with unwavering determination. "Daiji, I know you're in there. Fight it. Don't let this darkness consume you."

Kagerou's furious expression wavered as the internal battle raged on. Ikki, fueled by the bond with his brother, remained resilient. "You're not alone, Daiji. We're here for you. Let go of this torment."

As the struggle continued, Ikki's words echoed in the tumultuous mental landscape, a beacon of hope amidst the chaos. The outcome hung in the balance, a testament to the strength of familial ties against the grip of internal strife.

Within the depths of Daiji's consciousness, the mental battle intensified. Kagerou's voice, laced with bitterness, cut through the turmoil. "You're nothing without me, Daiji. Embrace the darkness; it's who you truly are."

Daiji winced, torn between the conflicting forces within him. Ikki, however, stood resolute, refusing to let his brother succumb to the shadows. "Daiji, remember who you used to be. You're more than this darkness," he urged.

Kagerou's taunts persisted. "Face it, Daiji. You need me. Without the pain and anger, you're just a weak shell of yourself."

Ikki's voice countered, a beacon of hope. "No, Daiji, you're strong. You can overcome this. We'll face it together."

The internal struggle continued, a battleground of conflicting emotions. Daiji grappled with his own identity, torn between the darkness that Kagerou represented and the light that Ikki offered.

A surge of inner strength welled up within Daiji, and with a determined roar, he pushed back against Kagerou's dominating influence. The mental battlefield shifted, the darkness receding as Daiji emerged victorious.

"I won't let you control me anymore," Daiji declared, his voice resonating with newfound resolve.

Yet, as Kagerou's grip weakened, he spoke with a mixture of resentment and acceptance. "You may break free for now, Daiji, but remember, I'll always be a part of you. Whether you like it or not, we're bound together."

As Daiji stood amidst the remnants of the mental struggle, a transformative aura enveloped him. The once-dark suit underwent a profound metamorphosis, shifting into something holier and purer—a manifestation of the newfound clarity within him.

A luminous garment, radiant with ethereal light, now adorned Daiji. It symbolized his liberation from the shadows that had gripped him, a visual testament to the inner purity that had triumphed over darkness. Ikki, witnessing this transformation, felt a surge of hope for his brother's redemption and the possibility of a brighter path ahead.

It's only lasted a few seconds before Daiji passed not before apologizing to Ikki.

In those fleeting moments of radiant transformation, Daiji's strength waned, and a sense of serenity overcame him. He turned to Ikki, a heartfelt apology escaping his lips. "I'm sorry, Ikki," he whispered, the words carrying the weight of remorse and gratitude.

As the purity within Daiji faded, he passed with a serene expression, leaving behind a profound stillness.

Raion stood in front of the bathhouse, a stoic figure amidst the expressions of gratitude from the entire Iguarashi family. The sincerity of their thanks lingered in the air, and Raion, unaccustomed to such acknowledgment, remained stunned.

He observed the family's heartfelt appreciation, a new and unfamiliar sensation settling within him. For someone more accustomed to something more cruel than this, he hadn't expected any gratitude whatsoever but here he was.....the gratitude presented a unique and humbling experience, leaving Raion silently contemplating the unexpected warmth that gratitude could bring.

Raion was stunned greatly, Ikki only told him to come here because he had something he wanted to give him.

Raion, though taken aback by the gratitude, maintained his characteristic nonchalant demeanor. "No need to thank me; I just helped out a friend. It's not really that deep," he replied, downplaying his role in the matter.

His words, while deflecting the praise, carried a subtle sense of camaraderie, emphasizing the simplicity of his actions for the sake of a friend rather than seeking recognition.

The Iguarashi family, appreciative smiles still on their faces, insisted on expressing their gratitude. Mrs. Iguarashi spoke with sincerity, "Raion, you've truly been a blessing to us. We can't thank you enough for what you've done."

Raion, somewhat uncomfortable with the attention, nodded in acknowledgment. "Just doing what needed to be done," he replied, his tone maintaining its casual nature.

As the family continued to express their thanks, Raion found himself in an unexpected position—surrounded by appreciation, a scenario he wasn't entirely at ease with.

"Thank you for bringing me back my brother"Sakura said with a thankful expression to which Raion just nod before looking at Daiji and said "don't get possessed again I would like it if you don't "

"I won't..."

"Anyway, I need to go make sure the city save, so goodbye"Raion said as he was starving to leave.

"Before you leave here"The mom said as she handed what seemed to be plate full of food.

"For!?"

"You, hope you enjoy I made it myself"The mom said to which Raion said

"I can't accept this.."

"I refuse to accept your refusal"The mom said to which Raion looked confused.

Aaron layed on his bed with a basket in his hands, he couldn't believe that this woman could be so stubborn.

Rui, intrigued by the basket in Aaron's hands, couldn't resist her curiosity.

"Who gave you that, Onii-chan?" she inquired, her eyes gleaming with curiosity as she looked at the basket.

"Ikki mom made them, if you want you can take some I checked them for poison already and they all fine,"Aaron said looking at Rui.

Rui's eyes widened with excitement as she heard about the homemade treats. "Really? That's so nice of her! Can we try some together?" she asked, eager to taste the treats Ikki's mom had made.

Aaron smiled at Rui's enthusiasm. "Of course, little sis. Let's enjoy them together," he said, reaching into the basket and offering her one of the treats. They sat together, sharing a simple yet heartwarming moment, enjoying the homemade treats Ikki's mom had prepared.
