(The next chapter after this double chapter will describe how they awakened their aperture.)
When the class finished, the two youths were escorted by many guards towards their private chariot.
Whilst they're on their way they were meet by the gazes of many students of the same institution.
"Who are those two, why are they surrounded by so many guards?
Did they steal something or what?
Are they criminals?"
"Criminals? Perhaps, after all they are the son of him, that scum."
"That treacherous bastard who tried to desert the clan and steal from us?
Ugh, just thinking about that ashole makes my blood ache, why haven't they killed him yet, just because he's the son of the patriarch?"
"So what if he's a genius, he's a wicked genius who only has brought disgraces upon our clan!"
"I heard that he was caught on an adultery two decades ago, and it wasn't with the wife.
He used a potion to turn into a woman just to know it 'felt."
"Shh, what if they hear you out, if they're as half as talented and half as resentful than him you're going to die"
...
Countless students muttered to each other when they saw those two, it was as if they're on a zoo glancing at two chimeras.
Bing Sheng Wang lowered his gaze, he hid his right hand on his sleeve and began to clench his fist.
"One day, when I'm perfect I'll make them pay for what they say, however I'm not strong enough to deal with the consequences, not yet."
The son picked up the resentful attitude of his father after enough of their interactions, who used resentment as a fuel to drive himself forward.
Bing Qing Yang however wasn't bothered he smiled at them sililly.
"Don't mind us, we were simple on our way back.
Please, forgive us if we bothered you."
He bowed slightly towards them, sounded so sincere that some of the bystanders bought his lies.
His real intention with saying that nonsense was to make the spectators guilty, to lower their guard and perhaps even acquire a 'friend', an ally.
Unfortunately he hadn't fought a good samaritan yet.
Though, even if he didn't found no one, as long as people believed that they could manipulate him to do their bidding and use his privilege as the grandson of the patriarch, he was satisfied.
Two people could use each other.
This indifferent and manipulative attitude was developed by him as a defense mechanism, if he acted slightly autoritary against his father, he'd be beaten for hours on a 'sparring match.'
Besides, he hadn't meet many persons that weren't total pricks.
The two brothers only had each other as a company, and even then they didn't interact too frequently.
After a tiny period, the two brothers finally arrived at the chariot, the driver barely spoke a single word on the whole travel, maybe he was someone silent or he was also afraid of them.
In those moments apart from glancing at the skies they could only indulge themselves on their minds.
Bing Qing Yang recalled the contents of his class.
"Let's see, before I think about what technique I'm going to use I should focus on what techniques I currently have.
Currently I Cultivate two compatible Sutras of the clan to raise my Cultivation Realm and my Cultivation Base is 2th Stage of Body Tempering.
The first Cultivation sutra I practice is called 'Boiling Blood', this is a variant of the traditional sutra of our clan, this one however instead of focusing on heating the whole, focuses on raising the heat on all your liquids.
I Cultivate this sutra because my affinity to water path is surprisingly high despite my lack of a Bloodline Ability.
Anyhow, currently as I'm at the second stage I already acquired the major quality of heat on the blood around my muscles and the lactic acid, currently I'm developing my secondary qualities.
The secondary qualities I speak about are salinization, as salt has a higher evaporation point I must add salt on my bloodstream, second I raise the pressure of my blood veins, my saturing them with too much blood or by reducing the thickness of my veins.
With this quality I can compress the blood and prevent it from evaporating, though if I were to bleed even by something like a cut I would leave a huge sprout of blood.
Other qualities involve the natural absorption of water through reversal transpiration to not die of dehydration and what not.
As for the side-effects of Cultivating this sutra involve, itching on the body, lack of fine control, pain on the night and I can die if I don't put Ice cubes on my chest due to overheating my heart.
To Cultivate this sutra I only sugar to give me energy and produce more Qi, salt to salinize my blood and a lot of water to not die.
The other is called Ghostly Blood Plasma.
This sutra consists on raising the heat around the plasma on the blood, up to the point were multiple 'bubbles' begin to appear, is in those bubbles where the Cultivator will create plasma, by burning 'Soul Essence' that they have on their bloodstream.
To acquire this soul essence you must eat raw meat, in my case I had to eat some soul-cockroaches.
The secondary qualities involve lower-soul density with a higher area so it can cover every part of the body, a subtle extra-sensorial perception and the ability to move the soul a bit.
The side-effects involve, headaches, hearing the whispers of ghosts or ancient beings, lack of sleep, hyperactivity and lack of focus.
...
Huh.
Now that I think about it, Cultivation isn't really that cool when you add so many drawbacks, it's almost like those commercials of medicine were they tell you how happy and good their products are and they finish by giving you a wall text of all the thousand side effect it has."
Bing Qing Yang said jokingly.
"Anyway, the reason why I practice this sutra is due to my overpowered soul which currently is around 234 times stronger than an average human.
Hah, I suppose that you could call this my 'cheat.'
In spite of that, I'm far behind my brother who even though is 5 years younger is already at the 9th of Body Tempering."
He glanced at his brother with a bit of envy on his eyes.
"But, even if I wasn't born with a cheat I'll create my cheat!
In earth people told that sugar gave people a lot of energy, this is false, but merely because we humans couldn't process it correctly.
On this world sugar gives a lot of energy and power!
Then, what would happen if I could create something more powerful like ATP?
Hehehehehe.
I'm getting excited just thinking about it!
Or wait, what if I create something like Carbon path!
Apart from water all living creatures are made of carbon, carbon is a common all-usage material that no one knows its real use, thus I'll have many materials but no competition.
In this world I'll do what no one on earth could make, make graphene on masse!"
Thinking of this, he slimed widely revealing his white teeth.
"That smile, that damn smile..." Bing Sheng Wang narrowed his eyes on worry.
Anytime his brother had that smile on his face he was about to do something completely insane.
Sometimes his crazy ideas worked, like his decision of Cultivating two sutras at the same time.
Most of the time they failed miserably.
Like the time he tried to 'devise' a weapon that any human regardless of their strength could use, a weapon that could be held on a hand, but could be reach hundreds of meters of reach, a weapon that could unleash devastating piercing attacks by using a powder, and tiny 'bullets.'
One time in one of his experiments he blew off three of his fingers, on another he almost killed someone accidentally, in another testing due to his lack of ability to create a precise weapon he hit a valuable artifact that was on the process of creation.
After that he was banned from ever attempting to create that weapon again.
In some other cases he succeeded partially, like the time he tried to delve on chemistry by relying on his memories when he was on mid-school and high-school.
He succeeded...
In creating poisons and explosives, those were the easiest to make, he experienced their effects directly on his body.
As for more advanced creations like pH detectors, artificial flavoring, drugs or even substitutes of spiritual ingredients, he failed and failed.
But that was to be expected, what did he thought would happen?
Even a professional could screw things up for unexpected changes like contamination of the vials, poor cleaning, lack of tools or other factors.
And he lacked tools, experience, knowledge, guidance and the patience of an investigator.
If he was born on the golden fever he'd have gone to another continent, bought a shovel and dig, dig and dig.
He was someone hopelessly optimistic that thought that as long as he tried on enough areas, sooner or later he'd struck rich.
Of course he wasn't always like this, but the period after his death, the knowledge that there was a soul, that there were other worlds and a Xianxia world that defied all the logic he knew, he simply adapted.
On this point onward he thought, if this world is actually real, why can't other things be?
Thus, he attempted tarot, astral and palm reading, he even used the knowledge he knew of a tribe for prosperity and good luck.
That and the lack of consequences of his actions due to the countless healing methods this world had, the boredom he felt for a lack of entertainment and simply curiosity slowly changed his personality.
Currently the thing he enjoyed the most was Cultivating, from time to time he attempted random stuff such as switching a part of the sutra for another, manipulate certain parts, add content, he loved every part of it.
He wasn't the only one who felt on this way.
Any Cultivator who reaches high heights develops this mentality over time.
After all at difference from earth you can't inherit your way to success, even if they give you sutras and resources you still need to train and learn to develop your own Dao.
Your own self.
Bing Zhan Hung was someone insane who loved to be free and do whatever he pleased, to take what he wanted, whenever he wanted.
The 'Shadow Angel' loved to use others as puppets, he loved to manipulate, fool, scheme, he enjoyed every second of it.
As for him?
He still was looking for the answer, however the thing that motivated him the most right now was the fear of death and the after-death, even if his memories had been erased, he still recalled the pain subconsciously.
Bing Sheng Wang on the other hand lacked this passion, lacked this love towards Cultivation.
For him it was a chore, something he had to do to treat his illness and become 'Perfect.'
In fact, he hated it, every time he Cultivated actively his body hurt even more, his headaches turned more abundant and he felt that he was about to die.
That was the reason why Bing Sheng Wang hadn't created a single technique on his life despite his relatively high Cultivation rank.
Bing Sheng Wang closed his eyes, he also began to ponder what would he develop, he began to think about it thoroughly, what would he do?
Two ideas came to his head, one to decrease the flow of Ying-Yang Qi to reduce the side-effects and pain and secondly to increase the flow of Ying-Yang Qi to increase the speed of Cultivation.
He was clueless.
When the two arrived at their mansion they're meet by many servants, Bing Qing Yang ordered delicies exclusive to this world made of rare Cultivation materials and a bit of bug-meat seasoned with salt.
Bing Sheng Wang in exchange asked for plain meat and a mix of vegetal-juice filled with some supplementary pills to aid on Cultivation and reduce the physical pain he felt.
The two began to eat, none of them spoke about they're too busy thinking what they're going to do as homework for their class.
Bing Qing Yang cut with a knife one of the legs of the massive spider on his plate, he cut it carefully for a bit of time, it was tougher than he expected.
"Oh...yes, if I recall correctly, spiders actually don't have much muscle on their bodies, they instead move automatically by using some hydro pressure directed by their core body, with the automatic movements of extend and contract.
Liquids...
Maybe I should use them as an inspiration." He used his fork and took one of the legs and devoured it directly."
After finishing their meal, the two had an idea.
"I'm going to the section of nervous system, water path and spiders on the library and borrow a few books." Bing Qing Yang thought.
Bing Sheng Wang frowned.
"I'm going to look at the books, and I simply going to copy some of the contents of a really good one."
If someone were to look at them, they'd think that they inherited half of the personality of the father each.
One was a passionate scholar with a hunger for knowledge and power and the other was a cheater.
