Josh and Felicity appeared in front of a beautiful house. A complete replica of all the houses around them.
"It's time I say goodbye." Felicity said.
"When are we going to meet again?" Josh asked.
Felicity smiled and said, "We'll meet when we meet."
"Not much of an answer, but oh well." Josh shrugged, and he proceeded to take off the thumb ring he was wearing on his right hand, "you have this. It'll remind you of me."
"You're a funny one." Felicity said, not knowing whether to laugh or cry, but still, she accepted the thumb ring from him.
"Remember, don't go around telling people about your outrageous talents." Felicity reminder.
"I'm not some stupid narcissist." Josh chuckled.
"We'll count on that." Felicity nodded.
"You do know your attendance on the first day is obligatory right?" Kate asked.
"Yeah." Josh nodded.
"I'll get going then." Kate said.
"Be seeing you then." Josh said, and Felicity immediately disappeared from his sight as though she was never there.
"Hey, Josh!" A voice shouted from the house beside his.
"Stop screaming my name like a country bumpkin will you?" Josh chuckled and turned to look at Nate, standing on his doormat.
"You just had to didn't you?" Nate smiled bitterly, as Josh began approaching his house.
"You'll get your chance one day." Josh replied, patting his friend on the back.
Nate merely chuckled, "Well, come on in." He said, going into his living room.
"Look who's here." Josh said, smiling at Kate.
"Hi." Kate smiled back.
Sitting beside Kate on the couch, Josh turned to Nate sitting on the sofa next to them and said, "so, how did your test go?"
"Went pretty good, I got into S class." Nate replied.
"Seems we're all going to be in the same class then." Josh said.
"Yeah, how did yours go though? Felicity Day legit freaked out when she saw your results!" Nate laughed.
"What's your magic talent anyway?" Kate asked.
"I have a quadra-affinity." Josh started.
"Four? Amazing." Kate's eyes flashed with surprise.
"Yeah. They are; fire, water, earth and air, and are all S-rank." Immediately after Josh, finished those words, Kate spat out the water in her mouth on Josh.
"I-i'm so sorry." Kate said, making a futile effort to dry off Josh's pants.
Kate held on to a bulge in Josh's pants with wide eyes, trying to lighten the tense atmosphere Josh whispered into Kate's ears, "you don't touch that guy without permission."
Kate hastily retracted her hand from Josh's bulge, and when his eyes locked onto Josh's, she turned away blushing heavily.
"Ahem!" Nate coughed loudly.
Kate stared at the floor, embarrassed.
"Wanna play Wararena till midnight?" Josh asked.
"Sounds like a plan." Nate nodded enthusiastically.
Standing up from the couch, Kate said, "I'll get going then."
"Rubbish, you can join us." Josh suggested.
"But I can't play." Kate argued.
"We'll teach you." Josh countered.
"This is all on you man." Nate raised his hands in defence.
"Traitor." Josh said, and turned to Kate, "alright then, I'll teach you."
"I'm only staying for a few hours." Kate compromised.
"Deal." Josh nodded enthusiastically.
Josh, Nate and Kate proceeded to play the video game "war arena" for a few more hours. Playing all through the night.

Josh woke up from his sleep, he yawned loudly while stretching his arms. He carried out his usual daily workout routine.
He proceeded to the en suite to have his bath.
Getting into the Jacuzzi filled with warm water, Josh closed his eyes to savour the feeling of the warm water seeping into his skin pores.
Finishing his business in the bathroom, Josh proceeded to the closet, as he had read on the Internet that the school usually puts the students' uniforms in their closets.
"They really do put the uniform in the closet." Josh said, taking one of the two sets of uniforms.
"Nate won't mind if I borrow this right?" Josh chuckled as he proceeded to put on the uniform.
When he was done putting on the uniform, he got out of the room and proceeded to the living room.
"You woke up early it seems?" Kate asked from the kitchen, as she saw Josh enter the living room.
"The person who knocked on my door was you?" Josh asked.
"I was." Kate confirmed Josh's suspicion
"Thanks for the gesture." Josh voiced his appreciation.
"No worries." Kate smiled.
Josh smiled back. walking up to her he said, "were's Nate by the way?"
"He's still getting ready." Kate replied, "I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have woken up if I hadn't woken him up." She chuckled.
"He's that lazy?" Josh chuckled, taking a seat at the dining table.
"You have no idea." Kate replied.
"Did you have fun yesterday?" Josh asked.
"Last night was fun." Kate replied, pausing for a little moment to recall the events of the previous day.
"You know, you need to work on your phrasing a little bit." Josh teased.
"What?" Kate asked confused, "oh right." Kate's face turned tomato as realisation hit her.
"Now that I come to think of it. Last night really was fun." Josh said with a sly smile on his face.
"Pervert." Kate rolled her eyes.
"At least I'm open with my perversion," Josh shrugged.
"What do you mean." Kate narrowed her eyes at Josh.
"It's obvious, you spoke in a perverted way subconsciously." Josh said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"How does, saying some words and you interpreting my words the wrong way prove that I'm a pervert?" Kate asked.
"It proves you have a lot of perverted thoughts in your head." Josh replied.
"You're a lost cause." Kate shook her head, unable to comprehend the gibberish Josh was spewing.
"What are you both talking about?" Nate suddenly walked into the living room, and went to seat with Josh.
"Nothing that matters." Josh replied honestly.
"If you say so." Nate shrugged.
"Foods ready." Kate announced.
"You know instead of doing this we could've just waited till we got our badge and all today right?" Josh asked, seeing no reason why Kate was to him wasting her energy.
"I like keeping myself busy, besides, I love cooking." Kate replied as she began dishing the food.
"A workaholic huh?" Josh chuckled.
"You could say that." Kate smiled.
The trio proceeded to have their breakfast, and in a few minutes, they were done with their meals.
Proceeding out of Nate's house, Josh stared in admiration at the car the academy gave to the year-1 S-rank students.
"Sleek." Josh commented.
"This year the academy bought S-rank students the speed 2000s."Nate said with faked excitement that Josh couldn't help but notice.
"Yeah, let's hop in." Josh said, and the trio got into the car, with Kate getting into the driver's seat.
Nate drove through the academy with the aid of the GPS in the car. After a few minutes on the road, they finally got to the Year 1 S-rank student building.
"This reminds me of my first day at school." Josh said, as they got out of the car.
"True." Kate nodded in agreement, "The only difference is that this atmosphere is different from your normal school environment in every way."
"There's that." Josh nodded in agreement.
The trio made their way into the building. They got to their classroom and met some of the seats occupied already.
"Why don't we go sit over there?" Eleanor pointed at the empty seats at the back of the class.
"Alright then." Nate replied and Josh merely shrugged.
The trio walked to the back of the class, ignoring the stares of the other students.
"You're that insolent peasant." A tall handsome boy got in front of them.
Josh got in front of the group, "oh I remember you, you're that idiot that thinks himself a little prince."
"You would eat your words if you knew who my parents are." Jake snorted.
"I bet your parents are just like you. Stupid." Josh said.
"How dare you!" Jake's face turned red in anger.
"Ask your mum." Josh replied, to the amusement of all the students in the classroom.
"You think you're funny huh? I challenge you to duel me in this week's class tournament." Jake said, desperate for an opportunity to give Josh a good beating "legally".
"Alright then." Josh accepted, and even though he knew would probably lose, he refused to be called a coward.
"It seems you've got some balls." Jake smiled evilly, "watch me rub that stupid expression off your face."
"You sound less annoying with your mouth closed you know?" Josh chuckled.
Jake gritted his teeth in anger and sat on his seat, allowing the trio passage.
"Bro that was quite a show." Nate hit Josh on the shoulder.
"No biggie, been making bullies shut their mouths since the '80s." Josh replied smirking.
"How old are you again?" Kate asked smiling.
"Never ask a man his age." Josh replied.
"Isn't that supposed to be a lady's line?" Kate asked.
"and who gave you women monopoly over the right to hide your age?" Josh countered.
