Running and running, Zyan almost ran like half a mile when he tripped over a rock and fell down. Before he could get up the gigrlis shot him with the golden magic ball and he vanished. When he opened his eyes and found himself in a cave like place it was really cold there and he tried to move but he couldn't. Then he noticed picture lying infront of him. A gentle breeze blew and the picture turned a little, it was a picture of a girl and a boy standing together. When he did a close look it was a picture of him and the princess standing together. He was confused and tried to move but it was of no use, it was like he was frozen. Then he heard a sound.
"Don't remember that picture? Do you even recognize my voice?" It was a woman's voice and he could see a woman standing in the shadow. "Shall we wait and see if your darling would come to save you?" The woman asked.
"Who are you? What have you done to me? What did I do to you? " Zayn asked continuously and the woman went back in the darkness. Zayn tried to break out of there but he couldn't suddenly he heard a scream.
It was Ember, hearing her scream princess ran towards her and was shocked to see that Zayn was standing in a corner frozen as an ice glacier. Zarina tried to open the cell but it was locked. Zarina took out her sword.
"P-p-princess wh-wha-why do you have the sword in your hand?" Ember asked with a shiver.
"Stand a little back and watch," by saying Zarina swung the sword to the lock and it broke then she opened the cell and went running to him. Ember tried to make him warm and see if she could melt the ice while Zarina walked towards a piece of paper lying at a distance. She walked towards it and when she was about to pick it up Ember screamed. "What? What happened?" Zarina asked with her sword in her hand like she was ready to attack.
"Oh its just my hand got a little stuck on the ice nothing much," Ember said with an innocent face. Zarina just turned back and picked up the picture. She was shocked then she heard a sound.
"Well I knew you would come to save your prince."
'My prince?' Zarina thought then asked, "Who are you and what prince? He is just a normal boy and we don't even know each other much."
The a woman came out wearing a Long fitted red gown, dark smoke surrounded her making it hard to see her face. She walked forward. "Remember me? Ayira?" The woman asked while Zarina stood there in confusion.
"What are you talking about? I don't know you, I-I don't even know who he--"
"Enough of your nonsense, You took away what i loved before, now I am going to take yours away," The woman interfered and tried to attack Zarina but she defended herself with her sword and the started fighting.
Meanwhile Ember took out a potion from her bag and sprinkled it on to Zayn and the ice melted, "Oh my god! You-You are ok?" Ember asked but before replying he fell to the floor and lost his consciousness. Ember tried to wake him up but she couldn't. Then she saw Zarina and the fighting. The woman pushed her using magic and Zarina flew , hit on the wall and fell down to the ground unconscious. Ember stood up and looked at both of them and started murmuring 'No no no this is not good this woman looks like she is a certified witch no i- I won't be able to keep up its better to leave' and took out a blue coloured potion and sprinkled it on them and herself and the three vanished.
The woman then walked up to the picture and picked it up. She stared at it as the whole cell filled with red smoke.
"No!" Zarina woke up with a gasp. She looked around to see that she was in her bedroom. She then saw the boy sitting at a chair near the window looking out at the golden evening sky.
"Oh you are up. Thank god." Ember came and sat next to her. She then handed a glass of water to the princess.
"What about her?" Zarina put the glass aside and got out of the bed. "I can't let her roam in my kingdom freely after knowing how much of a danger she is to my people." Zarina was about to leave the room when someone caught her arm.
"Not a good idea princess." Ember said shaking her head. "She is not here now. I can't sense her."
Zayn got up from the chair and walked towards the door rubbing his forehead. They both just stood there watching him leave.
"You not going to stop him?" Zarina arched an eyebrow. Ember let out a sigh and dropped on the bed.
A week passed still the witch hadn't appeared again. Zarina started to let go of that day's event and tried to focus on her lessons.
"My little princess always makes her father proud." The king said as he patted her head. He then looked around her room and then back at her. "I am sure you will make a great queen." They both smiled.
Suddenly the door barged open and someone stood there wearing a black dress. They had a black mask on their face. Everything except the eyes were covered with black cloth. Zarina's eyes fell on the sword on their hand. The furious dark brown eyes shifted towards the princess. They then charged at the princess.
