"Muahahaha! Finally, Foxy! We did it!"
"Kew!"
Finally Jake and his little furry companion escaped from that cave or heck, might as well be called a mine now with all the different gems he's collected of various shapes and sizes. How is he planning to carry it some beings beyond the fourth wall might ask? Why it is quite certainly, elementary for Jakey. Since in the last hour if breaking down walls to different segments of the cave (and conveniently had glowing jewels everywhere) he's learned a few things *Flashback!*
"Guhh! Foxy, so what exactly can you do?" The little blue fox tilted its head, Jake didn't know it but the Fox was slowly learning the concept of 'words' to understand him, what does that mean exactly? Pfft, I don't know not like I'm the author/narrator of this story.
Foxy replied with a simple, "Kew!" to which Jake definitely received the fox's wisdom, "Hmm yes I see, how about you demonstrate?"
"Kew!"
Unexpectedly the fox jumped at him and went INSIDE him. Jake in panic touched his torso all over confused about what just happened, but then his body (which was naked by shadow standards mind you) got covered in a large black coat, hoodie and all, with some pants and even a fresh pair of undies! Jake was a bit freaked out by this and didn't want to think about how his shadow banana got covered so his mind went elsewhere, a screen in front of him to be exact.

Jake nodded, and smiled? It was difficult to tell when your body was all one shade. He took all the information in and there wasn't much that he could tell, yet he did make one connection; between lights enslaved and the holographic figure telling him he's a cursed race, he assumed they were related. The remaining statuses had all left him with more questions than answers, like all them suspicious question marks.
"Shit, I should've asked them if all humans are the same as me..." It would be troublesome to meet up with the other people if they were all different races...
In that hour Jake had also been shown various other skills that Foxy innately had, one was a storage ability of sorts. Jake didn't get how it worked but it went in Foxy's shadow and appeared on the light plane like a giant sack from Jakes perspective. Foxy could also be in the light plane for around 10 minutes before it got tired and even weakened. *Flashforward!*
Jake was out and what he saw was, far, far different than what he originally expected. In a forest with blue trees and beige colored bark. However, more than the wondrous site of nature he was dazzled by sky, like night and day took the wrong shift, the stars were out and so very visible; a single silver moon, and entire planets surrounding it.
He could count 4 in the 'distance' and one absolutely mind boggling one, he'd never seen Jupiter in his life but if it were against this planet, it would be dwarfed 20 times over! However, he knew he didn't have time to acclimate he needed to find a place of stay, and find out where the fuck he was exactly.
He roamed for about another hour until he came across a paved way, similar to a road but without the use of cement and other 'modern' materials. Jake followed along the way hoping it lead to civilization and was surprised that throughout he neither felt hungry, or thirsty; he was mentally exhausted though.
Eventually shadows began to catch up with Jake as even thought the 'moon' hadn't moved from it's position the natural light of the fauna began to dim, Jake grabbed some purple colored sticks on his side and tried making a fire like he'd seen in videos. It did not work out and Jake began to worry but luckily Foxy revealed that it emanated light naturally and so Jake sighed in relief, not wanting to know the consequences of being in the shadows.
Oddly despite the danger they seemed to pose to him, just looking at them made him calm, though he wasn't sure if that was due to his liking for the dark back on Earth or a shadows nature he stared into the void like being around a campfire at night. He couldn't tell what the time was an simply rested his head against the tree in this plane of light.

"Master Hearth you need to get out of here, don't worry I've got it all under control!"
A blue skinned man with long purple hair, and a cracked face yelled towards a younger boy of similar appearance. The boy, Hearth, was on the ground looking at his family's servant beckoning him to get away. Underneath his eyes were designed with something akin to golden dust he didn't want to leave, not like this surely.
"No! Wayne please! What about auntie Kyle, surely she wouldn't want it to end like this!!"
From a demure of struggle to one of pure calm the man named Wayne looked back, "Don't worry master, I and all the others have already settled our family concepts, there's no more for us to accomplish. You're young and have the most potential that the Flame family have seen in generations don't let yourself go to waste!"
"N-no but Way-!"
It seemed that there would be no time for the servant named Wayne as the building that he was holding up with crimson vines was collapsing on top of him he smiled while embracing the flames of his destiny. The sheer force of the collapse startled the young Hearth Flame, but it got him off his back and towards the nearest stable, and picked out a surprisingly normal horse, in appearance.
The horse itself was anything but normal as with a "Hiyah!" the horse grew extremely muscular and covered in purple runes it dashed at the max speed of a race car, in an instant! It made thundering gallop sounds and Hearth looked back as his home became covered in a spherical array and exploded into a mushroom cloud. His purple eyes turned red as his anger began to manifest nigh physically.
He looked straight ahead and after a few minutes he noticed an odd looking fox on the side of the path. It had no family around it and was under a rather average looking, blue Marin tree. He stopped the horse and looked at it for a couple seconds, he felt a kinship with this lonesome animal. Perhaps it was the fox's natural instincts but it felt something look at it. They fox's dark blue eyes and Hearths now reverted purple eyes met.
Hearth tried to establish a connection with it through the eyes but then suddenly felt a disturbance in the force.

Jake heard a loud galloping sound in the distance while Foxy slept undisturbed. His eyes looked at the direction and noticed a humanoid figure. With a rather small frame equivalent to a 13 year old human, and mystical purple hair he seemed in a hurry on his admittedly menacing rune covered horse.
He thought they would simply run by but Jake was mistaken, the boy looked at Foxy with solemn eyes and Jake could see his swollen cheeks, perhaps he cried but to Jake maybe it could've just been an alien thing. The boys eyes were covered by the luxurious golden dust and his violet eyes met with Foxy who noticed a stare.
Jake, suddenly felt a slight shock in the back of his head and noticed a string between him and Foxy, as well as one generating between the boy and HIS fox.
"Oy! Could you not go around trying to take peoples foxes!" Jakes voice carried a hint of malice that the boy traced and then fell off his horse due to the sudden voice of someone talking. Jake blinked as he saw the dust float a bit, awakening his schadenfreude from seeing the boy fall.
(A/N: schadenfreude- pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune.)
Jake suddenly couldn't contain it and... huffed some air from his nose, the strongest reaction he could provide given his situation.
Foxy moved closer to the boy and Jake followed, not wanting to be caught in the shadows. The boy, Hearth, groaned in pain as his fall made him realize in how much pain his body was actually in. However, he didn't lose his guard and tried to get up as quickly as possible, which resulted in him falling on his face, receiving another huff from Jake.
"Ey kid you alright?"
Jake could swear that he heard some sniffles and released two whole huffs of air.
Hearth, in pain, could only give out the honest, honest truth, "N-no *sniff* I'm not in pain *sniff* I'm j-just laying down." Hearth had no idea why he tried to lie bit it gave Jake another huff. "Whatever you say kid, here, let me help you up-"
"No! I'm f-fine-!
He fell down again because his leg was stuck on the horse strap, Hearth received a grand total of 5 huffs from Jake!
