physician John sighs and says you mean you have been through all this, alone? Then tell me please why did you not tell the director the truth, surgeon Catherine replied, I tried to but whenever I want to talk to him he send me away and ask the security not to allow me into the hospital again, he then told the senior professor to remove me from every surgery and he don't want to see me around this hospital again, that is how I left the hospital, but I know for sure that the surgery went well and nothing should happen to the patient at least not so soon, physician John replied I guess your senior professor know something about this, he was in already prepared in the surgery room and waited for you, he then say you should be the one to do the surgery and went away, he his the one that ask a nurse to give you a drink as you said, he then told the director that he did not know anything about it that he ask you not to do it but you refuse, John sigh and said your senior professor knows something about it and we have to figure it out.
Catherine stood up and said to John will have to go and see the director once again, John replied, for what? She said I need to go and tell him to transfer the assemblyman to our hospital at the island, physician John said but I do not think he will agree to that, and Catherine said we need to try since the assemblyman insists he wants us to perform his surgery.
Surgeon Catherine walked in the hospital and straight to the director's office but he's not there. She asked his secretary and she said he had gone to the assemblyman VIP room. Catherine and John quickly moved there and they met him talking with the assemblyman silently, Catherine said sir! I need to see you right now, the director said Ok, wait for me outside.
Catherine and John were waiting outside for the director, John asked her what do you want to do now, Catherine? She replied do not worry, I will handle this.
The director came to them outside the VIP room and said to Catherine, come with me to my office. On getting to his office, he entered and Catherine and John entered too. The director looked at John and said young man, could you wait outside because this does not concern you. Then Catherine says to John, wait outside, I will join you shortly. John walked outside, not happy, then the director said to Catherine, what do you still want to see me for? What are you still waiting for, have I not asked you to leave? Then surgeon Catherine with yes I will and the director quickly cut in that that is better, now leave. Catherine said to him before I leave sir, you will need to transfer the patient to the hospital in the island since he requested for me and my colleague personally, the director laugh and said you this mischievous lady, oh because you know he his an important person you want to snatch him stylishly right, he laugh again and then say or you still want to kill him during surgery the way you kill my son? You know I did not sue you for what you did but to only ask you to leave, if you insist, I will have know option than to do what I didn't want to do before. You better leave before I change my mind, get out now. But surgeon Catherine said, `` No sir, I don't think I will leave if you did not transfer him as I said. The director says what! He then says do you think anybody will agree with that not to talk of the assemblyman? You want to take him to that local hospital? A reputable man like him to that kind of place, is it because you have gone to a local island that makes your head not to reason well anymore, how do you even think of something like this. Then Catherine said Ok, with due respect sir you have two options, it is either we take him to the hospital on the island or you allow us to perform the surgery here, this got the director so angry that he angrily started throwing things on his table away and said to Catherine oh! You feel you now have the guts to talk back to me? You are even given me options, he laugh and said let me ask you something, there in your local hospital in the island or whatever, what surgical equipment do have that makes you think you can perform this very serious and tough surgery there, do you even have the whole equipment needed complete over there, you must be joking. Then Catherine replied him that we might not have all equipment complete there but you know me very well and how competent I am, I am still the surgeon Catherine that perform even the serious surgery that as never been done before in our country with just one helper with me, the director smirk and said you are so arrogant and full of yourself. Let's see how this goes, no matter what string you have pulled I told you I will cut it off for you remember, now get out of my office. Surgeon Catherine walked out.
