A small boy wearing short black cargo pants a light brown shirt and a pair of brown sandals was carrying a small basket, a fishing rod and stick as he walked alongside a river as he was walking up stream. This boy is 10 years old has a wavy brown hair that sways with even the gentlest of breezes, his bright silver iris were bright in the dark one would think his eyes were glowing. His skin was a light peach tone color, this boy is Tyler Mage.
Tyler was swinging his stick as he pretended to be a swords master as he slashed at weak tree branches and small vines, cutting them with ease as he whistled a happy tone as he continued his happy walk. He passed a deer that was drinking water from the river before he found a black berry bush that seemed to be full of berries so he put down stick.
Tyler got on his knees as he looked near the roots of the bush and started to dig with his hand slightly until he started to unearth some worms, he placed his basket down as he pulled out a small plastic container, he cleaned his hand in the clean river water before he ate the pineapple slices that were inside his container and drank some of its juices before he started to place the worms into the container.
"You little guys will be the best bait for my fishes."Tyler said kept digging for more worms.
After a few minutes passed Tyler was happy with his current amount of worms and put the lid onto his container as he got up, he noticed a boy behind a tree hiding but also looking towards him. "Hello."Tyler said cheerfully as he smiled at the boy. The boy looked like a very timid boy, he gave a small smile back as he gave Tyler a small wave. "h-hello."??? Said.
Tyler looked at the boy and saw that his clothes were slightly dirty, the boy he meets was wearing a shirt that had those frilly sleeves, but his shirt was covered in dirt, he was wearing long dress pants but they were also covered in dirt, the boy had the darkest of black hair that he had ever seen and red eyes that seem to be sad and tired, so Tyler saw fit to make him happy or his friend.
"Are you also looking for worms to go fishing? If you dig near this tree, you'll find plenty of worms they love being near fruit like bushes and trees."Tyler said as he motions with his hand for the boy to get closer he dug a bit deeper and found more worms. "Ahh, I see, I'm actually gathering berries because they're tasty."??? Said as he picked a few berries and put them in his mouth.
"Ahh, I see, but fish is more filling want to come and catch some fish with me?"Tyler asked as he had some spare fishing string, he could use to make shift fishing rod. "Is fish easy to cook?"??? Asked. "Yup it's very easy my brother taught me you can boil fish for 3-5 minutes and it will be cooked easily."Tyler said as the boy was now following him as they walked alongside the river until they found some calm and still lake water.
Tyler casted his line towards the water before he focused on the boy. "Please pass me that strong looking stick please."Tyler said as he pointed to a very sturdy looking stick that was by the lake's shore. Once they got the stick, Tyler tied one end of the stick with the fishing string before using a hook to cut the string once he gave the stick a very long string, he then ties the hook to the other end of the string he just cut and attached a worm to the stick.
"Now you can cast the hook and bait into the water and catch the fish!"Tyler exclaimed happily. The boy fooled Tyler's earlier example of casting, he cast his line into the water of the lake they sat down on the grass as they waited for the fishes to bite. "My name is Tyler by the way what's your name?"Tyler asked as he laid on the grass and looked up to the sky. "My name is Wilber nice to meet you."Wilber said but then his stomach growled in hunger. "So-sorry I haven't eaten since breakfast."Wilber said. "it's ok..., I can share with you, my sandwiches."Tyler said as he opened his basket.
"b-but their your sandwiches why would you share them with me?"Wilber asked "Do I need a reason, to share my food with my friend?"Tyler asked slightly confused. "w-were friends?"Wilber asked "I thought we were we shared names we're fishing together and I'm sharing food with you aren't we friends?"Tyler said very questionably. Wilber smiled with some tears in his eyes as he nodded. "Good, now I have some tuna sandwiches you can have two."Tyler said as he gave Wilber the sandwiches as looked towards his fishing pole and saw that the line was being pulled slightly so he quiclly started to pull back on the string. "I got one I got one!"Tyler shouted as he pulled on the string and pulled... out a 6-inch catfish.
"vmery guood jhob."Wilber said as he ate the tune fish sandwich. "I don't like cat fish you want it?"Tyler asked as he. "yes please."Wilber said Tyler opened his basket and pulled out a bag and placed the fish inside of the bag so it wouldn't escape and thus the boys spent a few hours fishing mostly catching small Trout fishes while pointing towards the sky and using the clouds to make up objects as they fished.
"I would love to stay and keep hanging out but I have to go."Tyler said sadly. "I-it's ok I had fun."Wilber said as he had 7 fishes in the bag that Tyler had given him.
Tyler paced picked up his basket and his bag of 4 fishes and his fishing rod. "if you're here tomorrow we can meet up again and we can even play games, like hide and seek, tag, catch... I have to bring a ball."Tyler said as he started to list off a few ideas.
"I promise to be here tomorrow."Wilber said quickly. "Deal, I'll even pack extra food incase we get hungry from all the playing we will do."Tyler said.
Wilber and Tyler shook hands. "See ya tomorrow."Tyler said as he gave Wilber a bright smile. "y-yes I will see you tomorrow."Wilber said as he also smiled, they both parted ways as they went back to their homes. Wilber ran through the forest before he moved a bush that was near a fenced wall and made his way through a crack only, he knew was there.
Once Wilber crossed the fence, he saw his home a dark mansion with some broken windows and holes in some of the manor. His smile faded as he dreaded going back home. There was no one there to welcome him and the person that does come doesn't treat him nicely.
After quickly carrying some clean water towards a bucket in the basement, Wilber placed the fish in the water to keep them fresh. He then cleaned up and changed his clothes to hide the smell of fish. Once he was done, he went to his room and began to write a letter.
-Dear mother, I made a friend today, He's fun, strange, outgoing and very caring. We met near the lake, he was looking for worms to use as bait, I was looking for berries. He didn't yell at me to leave, instead he asked if I was going to fish. I told him I was looking for my Lunch.
We fished and had fun together he also offered me sandwiches it was made of tuna with onions slight peppers and some corn and something he calls Mayo it was tasty; I of course returned his Favor by helping him fish, in the end we caught 11 fishes, he gave me 7 and kept 4.
I hope nothing bad happens to him he is my first friend, he called me his friend after barely meeting me, I hope we can be the bests of friends, but I also don't want anything to happen to him, Mom... can you pray for his safety I don't want to lose him... sign Wilber Diaz of the Jimenez family crown your son.-
Wilber sighs as he hides the Letter for his 'care taker' had arrived and he didn't want her seeing her letter. Wilber hid his letter in a floor loose floor board under his bed, before heading downstairs to greet he servant that his step mother sends him to give his dinner and to see if he is still alive, she only ever came late in the evenings.
~She'll feed me, I'll eat she make me clean the dishes and leave, once she does, I'll go to sleep and wake up and meet Tyler tomorrow.~Wilber thought as he made mental plans so he could feel better mentally, but he kept his face tired and sad since he knew if he looked happy the Servant would stick around and try to take any form of happiness away and he wouldn't let her take any more from him.
