Chapter 3 - THE EMERGENCE-3

I managed to awaken multiple bloodlines at the same time after my mother died. You might have read other stories about this, but mine was a particular case for two reasons. The first one was the number of bloodlines I managed to awaken. It included Elefen, Human, Troll, Dragon, and Fairy Blood. The mixture sounds uncommon and waste now; at least, everyone thought that way. However, all of them existed in harmony but also complemented each other. It was the first case where so many bloodlines showed a signature and awakened.

Ragnar, the name my mother gave me, soon started to catch everyone's attention. After being thrown out and my mother's death, I was left to fend off against the evil alone. The problem was with all these bloodlines, it wasn't easy to awaken them due to the thinness of the concentration. Hunters have tried their best to awaken as many bloodlines as possible, but a limitation was soon found.

These bloodlines were inherently dependent on quality and compatibility to awaken. As the number of bloodlines increased, the concentration decreased, decreasing purity. The number also resulted in strange and lessened interactions between a single blood type and the body.

Hence, awakening multiple bloodlines was no small feat. Awakening a single bloodline out of such a considerable number was a humongous task, and reaching higher stages was even more difficult.

Now you know why my family abandoned me and my mother. Little did they know that I had a unique ability. I don't know where it came from, but it allowed me to awaken all my bloodlines with training. While concentration mattered, my bloodlines could interact with each other and improve quality. This allowed me to grow strong rapidly in the later stages.

Being the inheritor of so many bloodlines meant I gained strength and memories of my ancestors. Memories included their unique arts, skills, experiences, knowledge, and more. It was only later that I found just how fortunate I was. The combination of all those bloodlines was an excellent catalyst for growth.

Do you know what I did? Rather than waiting for someone to pick me up, I ran and decided to make my own life. This was when heaven was kind to me. The White Guard Academy, with a pure white crest representing peace, was where I ended up.

How I came to be in that place is also an exciting story. I began to run, train, hunt, and loot, among other things, to survive. Fighting became a common thing for me, and my memories enabled me to increase my strength. I entered small dungeons and forbidden grounds of various groups and even looted some treasuries. All was done in the name of survival.

I had the Dragon's body training method and mana breathing method, the Troll's strength and defensive arts, the Elven breathing method and offensive arts, and the elemental affinity of Fairy Blood.

One may ask a question here:

What did the human side give? It gave me endless hunger, greed for strength, and immense growth potential.

I eventually met a fortunate encounter and enrolled in the White Guard Academy. I started my position at the lowest level of the students. This is just a passage for ordinary people, but it was a holy grail that allowed me to gain immense wealth and treasures.

Can you imagine what I did? I tore through the ranks and decimated anything that stood in my way to rise to the very top. I completely dominated any competition, any missions, and any opponent. You might not even be able to understand the extent to which I grew.

By the time I qualified from the academy, I was a Weapon Grandmaster specializing in swords, blades, spears, axes, bows and guns. Each would have made me a treasured prospect for many organizations worldwide, but I had mastered six.

In addition, I was a Fifth-grade Elementalist and an Element Lord. I was a Holy Knight and a Level 5 Weaponsmith. I was also a Grand magician. I covered every area one needed to cover up and then rose to the highest rank one could get in the academy.

I was hailed as the greatest genius in the world, and yet I only had a single name, Ragnar. Those who had thrown me out wanted to have me back when they heard this, but it was too late for both love and force. They tried to lure me in with resources, but I was rich.

I was too famous and too influential by now. Could you imagine a visit from the Avalon patriarch himself to invite me back? I said a simple thing.

"I will never forget your kindness to my mother and me. I will repay it in the future for sure." Even when I made a threat, all that bastard could do was clench his teeth and run out. He was strong, but he couldn't take on the White Guard Academy on his own.

Others in the family tried to make attempts in my life. For others, I was a prospect for development, while for Avalon, I was like a seed of destruction that had already become a plant. They wanted to eliminate me because I refused to come under their control.

What did I do? I managed to hide my strength, hide my cards and grow stronger. I eliminated the assassins sent after me, and as I grew stronger, anyone involved in the attempt on my life was eliminated as well. The political structure was changing, and a new family soon arose.

The Grimes family, once a small family, grew up to become one of the most significant knight families in the world. I, Ragnar Grimes, now, led it to become so. For your information, there were still seven families at the top. I destroyed the Avalon Family when I rose to have enough power.

The scenario changed. I became a hegemon on Earth, but soon enough, the Third Major Chage appeared. The second world-destroying apocalypse( 1st occurred during the first change) appeared when the Demon Kings began to descend with their armies. All organisms under Earth's banner came together to prevent this great disaster from happening. Being one of the leaders, I had to lead humans into the war.

This led to our situation.

"Ragnar, the great at my feet is a sight to behold." The fifth Demon King, Azarthos, spoke with a mocking voice.

"Ahh, I guess my whole life was lived in vain." My entire life played in front of my bloody eyes as I was brought back to reality.

"I have to commend your bravery. To think that some lowlife like you managed to kill four Demon Kings, two of them at the same time, and even fight with me after that for such a long time was commendable. If some of your allies hadn't betrayed you and your team was a little stronger, you might have won the war. Too bad you weren't capable enough. Fate is quite cruel." Azarthos spoke.

"Well, that is true. Do you know how much work I had to do to reach this stage? How many barriers have I passed? How many enemies have I killed? But I fell that because of the incompetence of some bastards. Ultimately, I was powerless in front of a Demon King." Ragnar began to laugh like a maniac.

"You seem to have gone mad because of this. No need to worry, Ragnar. The Demon Monarch has already ordered your cremation to be done properly. You are the first being who infiltrated our world and almost decimated it. You killed four demon kings on our turf and almost killed me. That deserves a proper respect."

"Ragnar Grimes/ Avalon, if I may say. I am honoured to be the one to take your life." Azarthos raised his sword, and the next moment, darkness encompassed my vision.
