De Lucas Mansion
" Good day Ma'am" Mrs brown greeted.
"Oh hi look who we've got here can't believe I missed you while you were absent probably your cooking" Mrs Lucas smirked.
"( She smiled faintly) hope you've been eating well)" Mrs brown asked.
" Maybe because my daughter in law to be isn't much of a good cook but what could we do when the almighty cook was absent we just had to manage" Mrs Lucas blurted out.
" Oh I see I'll go prepare something for everyone" Mrs brown said.
" Of course you should I'll be in my room " Mrs Lucas said and walked away while Nick came out from his room.
" Hi Mrs brown How are you doing today" Nick asked.
" Am surprised you can atleast care about someone, all the same am fine " Mrs brown said smiling.
" How's....ummm...Mira...is she fine did she run a fever again"
" Of course not she's resting and thanks for your concern she doesn't like being disturbed when resting "Mrs brown said immediately and left.
"Oops that was fast maybe I'll visit her tomorrow if that's the case but what do I get her this time that punk is sure to do more than himself I have to get her something she would like more than anything he gives to her " Nick said and went back to his room.
Few hours later at Mira's house..
" Come on how long will you really keep resting have been waiting for you to finish resting and explain what happened this morning and you've been pretending to be resting for hours" Kiora said sadly.
" Come on Kiora I really need enough rest cause of my health we can talk about it tomorrow" Mira groaned.
" Please.....please...you know I have crushed on these guys all my life and one morning one of them appears at my front asking of you, isn't that just Awesome and I know your the only person that can help me in this case one of them might wanna check me out " Kiora said winking at Kiora.
"Are you seriously not going to forget about this for heaven sake I work as a maid at their mansion definitely they would know Me and because they care about my health as their maid thats the reason for their visit " Mira said tiredly.
"My heart can't stop beating fast when I think of him " Kiora said.
"Who exactly" Mira asked.
"Why you trying to act like you don't know who am talking about exactly" Kiora complained.
"The one who's Betrothed already?" Mira chuckled. "Your good at yearning for impossible things you know" Mira laughed.
" That's by the way am gonna make the impossible possible let me make some food for us you can rest for years if you want" Kiora said and went to the kitchen.
Damian went to a nearby restaurant after leaving Mira's house, he ordered for a bottle of red wine thinking and talking to himself.
"Why did I feel like my soul was connected with hers when I hugged her , why can't I get her off my mind, I just hope she's not upset about what I did should I just go back and apologize? of course thats what I should do" Damian said to himself and drove back to Mira's house.
" (Knock knock) Mira can we talk "
" Wait isn't that voice familiar" Kiora asked.
" Hey come on just sit there I'll go check who it is you should check the food you left on fire " Mira said and went to open the door. She was shocked to see Damian again.
" Mr Damian Is something wrong? "Mira asked still looking shocked.
" Not really I fake to apologize for what I did earlier if it really upset you I'm sorry " Damian apologized.
" Of course not am fine and not upset " mira said smiling.
" That's great. Can we take a walk " he asked.
" Yeah sure " she said as she put on her foot wears. They strolled away.
" I um didn't think it was necessary to come back to apologize I plan on resuming work tomorrow maybe it could have been a better day " Mira said.
" My apologies I was in a haste to really apologize I thought I had upset you " Damian answered.
" I guess you won't go to the office today " Mira said.
"No I won't may I know why you chose to become a maid like your mom do you enjoy it that much "
" Actually I got tired of searching for jobs I couldn't stay Idle that's why I decides to join my mom" Mira smiled faintly.
" What about if I want you to work with me and for me you just have to be my secretary and paying you won't be a problem it's ten times the maid's salary"
" Oh my! are you really serious Mr Damian I would really be grateful thank you so much " Mira thanked him bowing her head countless times.
" It's fine you can resume work on Monday you don't need to bring you CV I know your bright and smart" Damian said smiling.
" Really! Although have never heard of that but I'm really grateful u can resume tomorrow if you want".
" No you have to rest so you can fully prepared yourself I'll send a car to pick you up on Monday by 8am" Damian chuckled as his phone beeped.
" Umm I'll need to go right now am glad you strolled with me today and I'm looking forward to seeing you on Monday". Damian said and left immediately.
" Bye Mr Damian Arghh why was I expecting him to hug me again I can't wait to earn alot of money mom need to hear this". Mira jumped happily and ran back home.
