Zenian's Pov:
I knock on the large door in front of me. "You can come in Zenian." I push the door open and approach the wooden desk with Vaisker sitting behind it. "Why did you want to talk to me?" I plop down into one of the chairs in front of the desk. I can feel his eyes pierce into me from behind his blindfold. "You can't avoid your family." A lying smirk forms on his face.
"Don't joke with me Vaisker. Now tell me so I can leave." The smile disappears and he leans back in his chair. "There's been threats from you know who. We need you to stick around just in case, alright?" He sounds tired of this shit. "Why are they making threats? We didn't do crap this time." Vaisker sighs. "I'm not sure. Our creatures haven't even done much damage. Humans have been dealing with them left and right. Speaking of humans, why is there a human in my home?"
"It's not your business. I'll stay if he can stay. Deal?" Vaisker smiles and stands. "I guess we have a deal." He extends his hand. I stand and shake his hand. "We sure do." I turn and leave the room. The door clicks shut. "Oh my gosh, hehe. I'm alive," I say under my breath. Ha, I made it. He's scary as hell. Whew. Now back to my dear.
I teleport back into my room. There stands a tall boy with dirty blonde hair in front of my large window. I don't think he hears me approaching. I slide my hands around his waist. "Hello dear." He doesn't struggle in my arms. "What are you looking at?" I lay my chin on his shoulder. "The greenery is so beautiful. Oh, and the mountain is amazing." I chuckle at his awe. I look up at his freckled kissed face with his dark green eyes which are fixed on the landscape.
"Are you gonna kill me?" His eyes turn to me. "Do I have a reason to?" He smiles at my response and his eyes return to the window. He leans into my embrace. "Are you ok dear?" "Mhm. I'm just tired. I traveled for a couple of da..." A yawn stops him from finishing his sentence.
"Zenian? What do you want to do for dinner?" It's Kakson. Samuel stands up straight and I let go of him. I turn to look at him. "I'm not sure. Sam, is there anything you would like?" He turns toward me. "Um, anything is ok with me." I nod, "It's all up to you Kakson." He smiles and then disappears.
"I can take you up on the mountain. We build a cabin up there when we were younger." He smiles at me, "That sounds nice. You know you look different than the books I've read about you. It said you had long hair but that's clearly false." I laugh and run my hand through my shaggy hair. "I cut it recently so your books were once right. So you were researching little ole me?" I smirk at him.
He turns away from me. "Of course, I was supposed to kill you." He reaches down to his ankle. Suddenly there's a knife blade in my hand. "Seriously? I thought we were going to get along?" I say in a stern voice. "I-I... Sorry." He lets go of the knife hand. I fling the knife at the wall and its sticks to it perfectly. I grab his wrist and pull him behind me. "Ow! Zenian your dick! Let me go!" I throw him in front of me. He lands hard on the floor.
"I'm trying to treat you nice and you tried to stab me." I glare down at him. He looks terrified. "Get up." Sam stands up quickly. I walk down the hall to the staircase leading to the cellar. "Go. There's a bed." I open the door for him. "I'm sorry, I-I just want to help my family." "Dear, just go. " He slowly goes down the stairs. I let the door close and I lock it.
