Olivia was writing something on her NB when someone roughly grabbed her arm. She stared at the hand and looked up at its owner.
A girl with a tall muscular build stood in front of her. Her hair was in box braids and there was a piercing on her lips.
"You! How dare you hit my boyfriend?" she asked.
Everyone turned their heads towards them.
Olivia kept the pen aside. Sighing heavily she slowly got up and stood before her. Even though the other girl was tall she was much shorter than Olivia. When Olivia stood up the girl stepped back a little but did not release her grip.
"Who are you?" Olivia asked raising an eyebrow.
"Bich, how dare you be arrogant in front of me!" the girl raised her fist to punch Olivia. But before her punch could land on Olivia the latter blocked it. With one finger.
'You came to take revenge with this strength?' Olivia stared at the first and wondered narrowing her eyes.
"Woah! Look at that! She's so cool." Samrat was fanboying from his seat.
Anisha slapped his shoulder and said "You moron. All you think about is fighting."
"But Ani, you can't deny that Olivia looked super cool when she blocked Labanya's punch," Srijan said.
"Guys come on. We need to see what's the matter. Maybe we can help?" Anisha said.
"What can you even help with those twig-like arms of yours?" Samrat said poking her arm.
"I agree with Anisha. Even if we are not good at fighting, Olivia is our friend. It's our responsibility to stand by her side when she's in trouble." Mainak said.
They got to know the reason for the commotion after coming near. That girl was the girlfriend of the guy whom Olivia had beaten up previously. She came here to avenge her boyfriend.
The girl was surprised when Olivia blocked her punch with just a finger but did not back down. She was one of the best boxers in school and won many medals in various competitions for the school. At first, she thought Olivia would be someone weak but now she realised she had some martial arts training. Since she did not use much force she felt that Olivia was able to block it off with some knowledge about martial arts but it never occurred to her that Olivia did not even use any force and simply lifted her finger.
"Who are you?" Olivia repeated the question calmly.
"Are you playing dumb now?" the girl sneered.
'No.' said Olivia in her heart.
"Do you not remember how badly you injured my baby?" The girl's grip on Olivia's arm grew tighter.
'Nope. I don't even know which f*cking b*stard you're talking about. And didn't you come to avenge your boyfriend? When did that change to your baby?' Olivia thought in confusion.
"I don't know who your daughter is," Olivia replied in a bored manner and proceeded to sit.
Everyone laughed.
"You! I was referring to my boyfriend by "baby" not some goddamn child!" Her shout was ignored by Olivia. The girl reached out to grab Olivia by her collar but the latter evaded her hand. Olivia a little annoyed by now gave an impatient look to Labanya.
"You have the cheek to say that? You beat up someone but when someone else does it to you you're so righteous?" the girl yelled.
Olivia just looked at her and thought 'This b*tch is so f*cking annoying. Just do what you came for what are you dawdling for!'
"Here, you beat him up. Now see how I beat you black and blue."
'Wow, big dreams huh?' Olivia blinked with a blank face.
"No one is allowed to hurt my baby." The girl brought forward a boy by his hand.
"Oww. Baby it hurts." the boy whimpered in pain.
The girl immediately tended to him and her expression made a 180⁰ turn. "I'm so sorry baby. Did I hurt you? I'm so sorry. Really. Come let me blow on your wound. The pain will go away."
Olivia who was watching the couple's drama raised her eyebrows and thought 'Oh, it's you?' while looking at the boy who was wrapped in bandages like a mummy. Seeing her the boy immediately shivered and hid behind his girlfriend.
"You dare threaten my boyfriend in front of me? I'll teach you a lesson." the girl angrily walked up to Olivia.
"We have qualified teachers for that," said Olivia.
This time Labanya threw a punch with all her might.
"Oowwww." someone screamed. The source of the sound was the mummy boy. Everyone was shocked. What just happened? They clearly saw Labanya throwing a punch at Olivia so how come it landed on her boyfriend? The culprit and victim were also shocked. The girl gasped and looked back and forth at her fist and his face with a dumbfounded look.
The boy held his bleeding nose and said with tears streaming down his face "Baby, how could you do this to me? Waaah." He started crying.
"Now beat yourself up. You hit him right?" Olivia sat back in her place.
"Hahaha. You're such a badass." Samrat roared in laughter. Srijan, Anisha and Mainak were also laughing. Labanya said that no one was allowed to hit that boy right? And she would beat anyone up who hit him. So now that she hit him it was absolutely reasonable for her to beat herself up. The four friends gave Olivia a thumbs-up for her clever trick. She killed two birds with one punch. Now Labanya is busy and she also could not hit Olivia for hitting that boy because she too did that and she would need to beat herself up too in that case.
Although they were also confused about how the hit landed on the mummy boy they were more focused on Olivia's victory. They had heard of Labanya's achievements in boxing so they were a little worried in the beginning. But seeing how things turned out they felt relieved and overjoyed.
Olivia went back to what she was doing now that the problem was solved. The girl was busy taking her mummy boyfriend to the sick room and had no time to care for Olivia. But the others were still discussing how such a thing happened.
Anisha approached her and asked the question that was bubbling in everyone's heart. "Olivia, are you a magician? The two of you were standing so close to each other. We were right behind you still we don't understand how you evaded the punch and also hit that boy with his Avenger's punch!"
