After his talk with Kevin Lam, Vince Hong returned to the Hong mansion.
As he stood on his bedroom balcony, gazing out at the distant horizon, Kevin's words echoed in his mind.
"Vin, only you know whether you're strong enough to continue or if it's time to walk away. People will always advise you to be patient, to work things out, but I know you better than that. You have to figure it out yourself."
Kevin's advice rang true. There would be many people who would want him and Eva Lee to stay together, to see them through to the altar.
But could he? Was this relationship about fun, or was it something more? Did he see a future with Eva?
"Vin, remember the purpose of your relationship with Eva. Is it just for the thrill? Or are you genuinely serious about her? Only you can decide that."
Those words kept repeating in his head, clouding his thoughts. Kevin wasn't wrong.
