After abruptly ending the call with Winny, Eva Lee's manager, Vince Hong stood silently in his room, leaning against the balcony, gazing out at the view.
As the heir to the Hong family, Vince had always had his way. From a young age, people obeyed him, and every whim of his was met without resistance.
But since meeting Eva Lee, he had learned that compromise was part of life. He had to swallow his pride, give in at times, and realize that not everything was in his control.
Like when he wanted Eva to listen to him and not take that movie role. She refused and even got angry, which led to a fight between them.
And when Vince went to meet with the director, hoping to convince him to change his fiancée's scene, the director gave him a lecture instead.
And he compromised. He had backed down on that issue.
