That night, after young master Vince Hong and Eva Lee had visited the Hong mansion earlier in the day, Vince received a phone call from Kevin Lam, inviting the heir to the Jin Long empire to his party.
"Don't forget to bring your angel! Not your MILF though!" teased Kevin Lam before quickly hanging up to avoid getting yelled at by his annoyed friend.
"Ugh, no manners! That devil Lam!" Vince Hong grumbled in mild frustration, unable to get too angry when it came to his mischievous friend.
He recalled how they had once gotten into a fight, where Vince had punched Kevin in the face at a wild party for talking about Ruby. But even then, it wasn't Vince's full anger—just a glimpse of it.
"Who was that, Vince?" asked Eva Lee as she snuggled affectionately into Vince's arms on the bed.
"That devil Lam," Vince answered, stroking his fiancée's arm.
