Her phone had already crashed onto the paving stones below. Ruby peered over and it seemed the phone was completely shattered down there.
"Oh my goodness, Ben. You startled me. Tsk!" Ruby pretended to regret dropping her phone due to her husband's sudden greeting from behind.
"I'm sorry, sweetie. Next time I'll knock on the balcony glass before approaching." Ben Hong looked remorseful. "I'll go get it for you!"
Not long after, an employee of the Hong Family passed by below.
Ruby saw the person and called out, "Mr. Chu, please pick up that phone. Yes, the one that fell. Bring it up, okay?"
Then, Ruby looked at her husband with as normal a smile as possible. "It's okay, Ben. Mr. Chu is already getting it. Just a moment, okay?" She patted her husband's chest before walking away from the balcony to retrieve her phone from the worker.
