The heir to the Jin Long kingdom's throne awoke and opened his eyes, startled by the dream he'd just had. It was a strange and frustrating dream that left him with many questions.
However, what was even more surprising was the presence of another person beside his bed. Yes... there was a woman there.
"Eve?" asked Vince Hong, hoping he wasn't facing a mirage. Or was this still part of the dream? "Eve, is that really you?" He focused his gaze on the woman at his bedside.
The woman who looked like Eva Lee chuckled softly while holding Vince Hong's hand and said, "Vince, what's wrong? Of course it's me. Who else would it be, hm?" Her gentle voice rang out clearly.
Hearing that voice, Vince Hong sighed in relief, realizing he wasn't hallucinating or still in a dream. He was in the real world. He was truly awake.
