After eating, Vince Hong felt sleepy. He thought Ruby was probably resting too, so he figured it would be best to take a nap. Later in the afternoon, he could visit her again.
In truth, he still longed to be near Ruby and River. It seemed like no amount of time would ever be enough when it came to them.
To Vince Hong, Ruby and River were the most important people in his life. He didn't want to lose either of them.
He hoped to always be with Ruby and River, even if it meant he had to accept Ruby also belonged to his father. As long as the woman he loved and their son stayed close to him, Vince Hong didn't mind.
His love for Ruby had evolved beyond mere lust. It had grown into something deeper, a genuine and selfless love. No longer a jealous or selfish desire.
If he had to live this strange life, sharing the woman he loved with his father, he was willing to do so.
