Shocked and nervous by the question, Rachel firstly couldn’t say anything.
The way he excitingly asked her, she wasn’t sure on speaking him the truth or not.
Instead of choosing one side, she came to the conclusion to just tell him a white lie.
Half truth and half lie.
„I can’t give you an opinion of that genre. I could have listened to it or not, I am not sure.“
Meanwhile, she was answering his question, Rachel was looking closely at his reaction.
She was hoping that this answer was satisfactory enough for him.
Actually, she wanted to say something important to him but she didn’t have the courage to mention it.
Rachel wasn’t brave enough to tell him the truth, but one day she will, but not today.
The moment Jonathan heard her answer, he wasn’t sad or anything.
In fact, he was glad that she wasn’t judging too quickly and that was one of the many reasons he likes her.
She is open and kind and he really appreciates that.
