„You can’t be serious.“
Jonathan laughed at Rachel’s reaction, thinking it was cute.
„Yeah, can I have it?“
Still, in disbelief, Rachel looked at where the voice was coming from, trying to process what was happening.
„Tell me how much it costs and I will give it to you.“
Then Rachel shook her head, signalling to him that he didn’t have to.
She insisted on letting him pay, instead, she wanted to give it to him for free.
„Since your birthday is getting nearer and nearer, this is my gift in advance.“
Without thinking much, he simply agreed and went towards her.
Rachel heard footsteps getting closer and she automatically opened her arms.
As he saw her gesture, he smiled brightly, feeling happy that she opens up to him more.
It was almost night, which meant for Jonathan, it was time to go home.
„Thank you very much!“, happily he said, standing in front of her entrance door.
Because of his gratitude, Rachel shook her head and thanked him back.
