A sharp cry rang out in the busy street before the main market. Heads were turned in their direction as Zale watched Pearl throw her head back and cry out in anguish.
Sparrow chuckled loudly seeing his actions yield their desired effect. His brows drew closer as the colour of his pupils went darker.
Watching the agony enveloping her made Zale's heart clench with so much pain. With every passing second, she was a screaming mess wanting to pull out her hair as the pain coursed through her brain.
Zale did not need to be told. Only one thing could happen, take her as far from Sparrow as possible.
They had gotten the information they needed, now was the time to act fast and safely.
