Pearl could hardly believe her ears. She thought Cora did not recall her name and thought of a nicer one for her. However, the girl later did and it had to be one that Zale chose.
"How?" Zale inquired. He still found it unbelievable, to say the least. All of their attention was focused on the young girl, waiting for an explanation.
Her eyes shone with unspeakable joy as she answered, "When I heard the name from your lips, I knew I had heard it before."
Zale hummed. "That explains why you were silent for a while." Cora nodded. "In that case, I guess I am a good thinker." Pearl openly scoffed and threw her hair back.
"Do not be jealous Pearl," Zale comforted and rubbed her head lightly. "Anyways, it is time to go. We cannot be here for long. I have a bad feeling of wanting to linger here."
"Sure. I agree with you. However, do you know where to find this Mr. Brown?"
