CHAPTER 164
His eyes widened, almost bulging out of their sockets.
He had no time to recollect what was truly going on when Zale squatted a little and used a great force to propel himself above Carl as he landed a rather heavy blow with both elbows on Carl's back.
The latter was thrown with a heavy force down, slamming the ground in a heap. He coughed out, bloody staining his lips and the ground close to where he lay.
Not stopping one bit, Zale landed on both feet with a loud thud.
Taking to his heels, he charged for Salem who was about standing and sent a kick straight for his ribs. The cracking sound of broken ribs echoed in the cool night sky followed by the painful cry of the man being attacked.
Throwing his sword away, he held Salem's shirt, lifted him from the ground and hurled him towards his partner. They came crashing back to the ground, groaning in pain.
