Before long Pearl found herself locating the shop quickly and waited in line with the others to get her meal.
Her eyes scanned around, keeping a look out for Zale. Up till that moment, there was no sign of him. She had begun to grow worried.
Not too far from where she was, Kye got a chance to peep at her, keeping a close eye on her.
"Where is he?" She pondered again but nothing. "I will give him a few hours. If he hasn't come back, he should not blame me for scouting for him," she said in a whisper.
With little or nothing to do to fix up her frustration, she focused on other things in the market.
