She lowered her head, getting ready to apologize and pay her respect when Axel's voice entered her ear.
"Is this what you want? To worry me to death first, Aurelia."
She raised her head just in time to meet her brother's eyes peering down at her. She swallowed hard. She hoped he would avert his gaze away but to her surprise, he hardened his gaze.
"Umm..." She fiddled with her pink gown, trying so hard to ignore his eyes which sank into her, making her look small.
"Aurelia."
"I'm sorry for making you angry," she quickly apologized.
He lifted a brow. Making him angry? Did she even understand the situation?
"Why or how did you make me angry?" Axel questioned. He needed to make sure they were on the same page which surely his sister was out of.
"I–I... I umm tch..." She tightened her grasp on her gown, biting hard on her lip.
