He had not thought of her getting hurt by any means. Then again, he knew what he saw. Her palm barely bled and when he looked at it again, she brought her hand to her front.
"Pearl," he called swiftly, stretching his hand to touch her shoulder.
"I do not want to talk. Excuse me."
Her words were direct with so much barricade as she told him off without a single thought.
Feeling bitter with her response, Zale stood there not saying anything as he watched her disappear from sight and locate the bathroom.
The second the door was shut behind her, he snapped his head to the window and narrowed his eyes.
Automatically the window silt zoomed in and he saw a stain of her dried blood on it.
He made his way over to carefully examine it. Having understood the situation, he used his power to wipe off the trace from the window and closed the curtains.
