"I see." She managed to smile and did her best to hide her embarrassment.
"Yes. It is just you and I. Now, any other excuse?" She raised her eyes to meet his, watching him complete his offer with all seriousness. "Tell me and I shall take care of it."
Zale waited for a few seconds and when Pearl did not say anything, his smile grew cheeky and he held her chin, pressing his lips to hers.
At first, Pearl wished to hide but when his kisses became hot, she found herself giving back what he gave until she could barely take it anymore and they parted to breathe.
Still, his dreamy eyes never faltered. She saw a wave of desire in them like he had become changed. A different being from the lost man she had met when he first came.
