Right after he got the directions, they proceeded in cleaning Cairo's wound and clearing every trace of blood on the floor.
Following Cairo's advice, Zale sat on the only chair in the living room and rested his head for a bit while Claire and her brother went about their business.

Back in the forest, Pearl waited for the shadow she saw to come close and reveal the identity of the owner as she clutched the top of her gown in anticipation.
Several thoughts ran through her mind as she waited patiently and refrained from uttering the name she had once called.
At this point, she could not be sure if their enemies had located where she was in the forest.
'I shouldn't have lit a fire in this place.' She thought to herself.
Had she not done that, then perhaps one would not have been directed here and left.
