CHAPTER 60 – Scared
Once they arrived at the cave, Zale wasted no time in helping her pack her things while using his powers to create a light in the cave.
With all they needed in hand, he took her out of the cave and straight for the forest.
Having planned for his death, Leo did not leave any of his men behind to tale Zale as they all believed he would come of his own accord.
To Leo, rather than have his men scattered all over the place, and have Zale pick on them one at a time, he let them encamp at the old house and lurk in waiting.
Thanks to such thoughts it was easy for Zale and Pearl to escape without being caught.
On and on they went, going further into the forest till he came across another cave.
"I saw this on my way to Noterra. It was my first resting place before I met you," Zale mentioned while scanning the surroundings.
"I see. Do not tell me you planned on living here while you sought the pearl?"
