CHAPTER 44 – You Failed
The force with which the Queen had slapped her made her ears ring and her brain dulled.
Thanks to the one who held her down, Scarlet did not think she would have missed her face coming in contact with the ground.
"Send her to her room and have the royal physician treat her immediately," Diamonique instantly bellowed.
Two guards stepped out from where they had stood to the side of her attacker and lowered their heads.
"Your Highness, if we may."
"Hmm." Taking a step back, Jasper released her long enough for the royal guards to take over from him.
A few moments back, when he saw the danger, his betrothed was in, he was forced to get up using the protective coverage of Blaze's words which had pulled Scarlet's attention from him, to get behind her.
What she did not take into account was the speed at which he did so.
