For the time period Zale had been in the human kingdom, Ashedore still mourned the loss of their queen.
Amidst all that, King Storm wondered why Zale took so long to retrieve the soul pearl and if whatever was holding him back would be resolved soon enough.
"You must take rest, Your Majesty. You cannot go on like this," KaiKane advised.
"I can. I cannot rest until I know Zale is back safely with the Pearl of Azucean. He is all alone in that kingdom. Anything bad can happen."
"You must trust the prince, Your Majesty. He has lived to earn your trust. He is powerful. It would be a cakewalk with the humans."
Storm shook his head and when he lifted it once more to look at his advisor, his eyes showed forth his pain.
"So was Aella. She was strong but all it took was one or a few humans to kill her. Mistakes do happen. I cannot lose my heir and only child."
