CHAPTER 64 – The Link
Both of them went still where they stood as all eyes landed on the intruder that stepped into the house.
"Why did you lock the do..." His word Jing in his throat meeting the strange scene before him.
"You." Zale's voice came off strong with so much malice that Claire could feel the hate emanate from within.
At the same time, the young man standing before them looked like one who had seen a ghost.
Ignoring Zale's words, he looked to the side only for his eyes to land on the lady behind him.
"Cairo."
"Claire."
His brows furrowed deeply as he shot a stern look at Zale. "What's he doing here? Is he hurting you? Should I scream for help and go find out?"
The more he spoke, the more Zale found this whole scenario confusing and most importantly, tiring stupid.
Did this kid just think he would let him walk out that door like a rat?
