CHAPTER 144
They lay pressed against each other on the bed as the cool breeze coming from the wind touched their skins, sending shivers running down their spines.
Several moments passed and neither of them moved. The only sound coming out of the room was the sound of their laboured breathing as they slowly began to relax properly.
Zale moved up first, lifting his head just at the right angle to see her face. A sweaty sight awaited him but for the first time, he saw her as a diamond in the rough.
Zale smiled at her, placing small kisses on her forehead and lips. He switched up, lying on his back and brought Pearl to lie on him as he held her body close.
"There, there. I am sorry. I shouldn't have tired you out this way. You can rest now."
