Midgar, sector 5 slums. At Elmyra's backyard, Vincent was teaching both Elmyra and Ifalna how to shoot guns. "Uhhh. Why am I getting taught this again?" Elmyra was confused as she was definitely sure that she heard that Aerith requested Vincent to teach only Ifalna.
"You are already in too deep in this mess. Shut up and practice, woman." Vincent was having none of it and Ifalna smacked him on the back for being too rude. And due to her enhanced strength, he felt that really hard and groaned.
"Vincent! Why are you being so rude to our benefactor? Sorry Elmya, Vincent is just that kind of person… But he is correct, the reason is actually that simple. Shinra might try to get you for helping us. Sorry about that, don't worry though. We'll definitely keep you out of this as soon as possible." Ifalna held her hand and was really apologetic.
"Ahhh, you're leaving? If that grumpy guy is right, then you don't have anywhere to go right? Then why not just stay here as long as you want? Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself. Besides, Vincent is also teaching me how to fight." Elmyra flexed and Ifalna went wide eyed, she then chuckled.
"I can hear you." Vincent squinted his eyes at them and Ifalna huffed at him. "Vincent, you should definitely a bit more social. You'll scare everyone away from you at this rate, isn't that right Aerith?" Ifalna roped in Aerith and she nodded.
"Umu, Vincent is really too grumpy. He'll definitely have wrinkles early." Aerith chimed in and Vincent frowned. 'I'm immortal, that won't be happening anytime soon.' He brooded again and Ifalna patted him on the shoulder with a smile on her face.
"Come on, you still have to teach us how to fight mister. Pretty please?" Ifalna asked nicely and Vincent sighed. Thinking why does he have to put up with their antics. He then thought that the twins would probably be pleased if he helps them out.
"Fine, but you better take this seriously." Vincent stared at them and they nodded. "Ooh! Can I finally learn some magic too? Please mom? I really want to protect you too!" Aerith looked at them with determination and Vincent walked up to her.
"Here, use this. You can protect your mom with this much better." He handed her a gun and the two women snatched It immediately out of her hands. "Vincent… Aerith can't use guns!" Ifalna chided him and Aerith pouted.
"I totally can! Watch this!" Aerith took it again and she started blasting the targets that Vincent put up earlier. Everyone was quite surprised, seeing the obviously small and frail looking Aerith shoot the targets accurately.
'That must be the work of the Minerva cells.' Ifalna furrowed her brows and thought that they were lucky, it didn't have any major drawbacks to them. Except they were probably too strong for normal day to day tasks.
"See, the kid's got talent. Okay, when you aim always target the heads or chest okay?" Vincent nodded in satisfaction at Aerith's apparent talent in sharpshooting. "She will not be targeting anything!" Elmyra and Ifalna said at the same time. Shooting people with headshots would definitely traumatize her when they see how their heads explode like watermelons.
"And magic is better? Face it, the kid will be having troubles if you keep on sheltering her." Vincent argued and they couldn't quite retort to his sound logic. Magical spells could skewer people or make them explode, it wasn't quite different to guns or explosives.
"I've got an idea! How about I combine them?" Aerith got excited, thinking about wielding guns and throwing out magic just like those t.v. shows she used to watch in Nibelheim with Cloud and Tifa. She also kind of had some experience with magic due to the vr rpg that Ramiel set up.
"Good idea, your mother will teach you magic. I will teach every one of you how to use all kinds of firearms." Vincent took a bag that was on the side, he emptied the contents on the ground and all kinds of guns were right there. As well as knives and bladed weapons.
"Hah, this will be quite messy." Elmyra sighed and looked at Aerith that had sparkling eyes. Meanwhile, Ifalna had concern in her eyes for teaching her daughter how to fight.

At the shores of Wutai, Genesis and Angeal were still hauling huge hunks of metal while being affected by increased gravity. "Hah, hah. How much longer are we going to do this?" Genesis whined, panting from the backbreaking work they were doing.
Angeal wiped some sweat on his brow and chuckled at Genesis having a hard time trying to complete their tasks. "I don't know about you, but I feel great. I kinda see where commander's going with this." Genesis was quite skeptical though.
"Hoh? Then what? We're being turned to pack horses Angeal… And look at the other workers, they're obviously using machines and forklifts for this." Genesis pointed at the engineers and mechanics that are of course not carrying things with their bare hands.
"Commander is building up our strength Genesis, I thought that's pretty obvious by now? Carrying free weights like this works a lot of muscle groups. We also build a lot of stamina." Angeal looked at Genesis like he was an idiot and Genesis genuinely didn't think of that.
"That's right!" Ramiel suddenly appeared out of nowhere and scared the crap out of them. "Is that true commander?" Genesis asked the source instead, still not believing it. "Yeah, Angeal is right. And you should have known that too, anyways. I have deemed that you guys are ready for your next training." Ramiel created some boulders with magic and they stared at it with a bit of anxiousness.
"You two will be carrying this on your back while hauling equipment, now that's what I call an upgrade." Ramiel nodded sagely and they paled at the sudden spike of difficulty. "Wait! I demand that she should also train with us too!" Genesis pointed towards Alex who was eating ice cream and relaxing.
"I'm already training 24/7 doofus." Alex took off her coat and cape, her body and limbs were strapped with metals. Hah! I knew it, those are just small weights. How can you call that training?" Genesis snorted and didn't notice the obscene gravity magic that were enchanted to it.
"Oh yeah? How about you try and wear it then?" Alex took it off and waved it around with a smirk on her face. Genesis huffed and immediately tried it on, though she turned the enchantments off and waited for him to wear it completely.
"See? It's like carrying feathers, totally light weight." Genesis had a smug smile on his face and Alexandra activated the enchantments once again. He immediately face planted on the sand, his head having an intimate one on one session with it.
"Kyahahaha! Not so smug now eh, dork?" Alexandra laughed her ass off and Ramiel sighed at their antics. Genesis gave off muffled shouts as he couldn't lift himself off the ground. "What'd you say? Can't hear with all the sand in your mouth." Alex poked his head with a stick and Angeal thought that Genesis didn't learn his lesson.
"He's really stubborn, isn't he? Anyways, how about we keep that thing on him? He's lacking some physical strength anyway. Being a mage knight is good and all, but if you can't balance your magic with your body, you'll be a sitting duck when the enemy doesn't let you cast." Ramiel shrugged.
Genesis then had a really rough day, being laughed at by Alexandra as she messed with him by tweaking the gravity on him at multiple places. Though Ramiel didn't really stop her, as that was a really good form of training balance too.
"We're gonna have a rough time here…" Angeal cheered Genesis in his mind while he kept on doing his chores while carrying a boulder on his back.
