The image of Jess sleeping on my shoulder overlapped with the current one of Nat who was in the same position.
I just stared at Nat the entire ride.
Time passed quickly while I was reminiscing about the past.
After a while, the carriage suddenly stopped and we heard the voice of the driver announcing that we had already reached our destination.
I stopped looking at Nat and moved a little away from her to wake her up in another position.
'It would be very awkward if she woke up with her head still on my shoulder,' I thought.
"Nat, please wake up. We're already at the inn. You two, Angie and Eva, please wake up too!"
Soon, Nat's eyes began to open slowly.
"Hmm? Franz... Where are we?" She asked while still sleepy.
Once Nat finished asking, Eva and Angie began to slowly wake up as well.
Eva yawned deeply as Angie and Nat rubbed their eyes.
