We walked for two and a half hours. when out of nowhere we walk into a clearing. taking a second to look at my seronding. I see about five thousand werewolves on the opposite side of the clearing than us. I used an illusion around me making me invisible. I shuffle my way to the front of our group to get an advantage spot on what is to be the battlefield. I form a disc of air beneath my feet rising up off the ground just high enough to see the surroundings.
"Archers aim directly at them!" Viper yelled as the werewolves charged at them. in a barrage of hisses, fifty arrows destroyed the front twenty roses of charging werewolves.
"Charge!" Viper yelled, as his men ran swords and axes at the ready with arrows flying. As the battle commenced, I watched his men Killen countless werewolves as they ran into them. I saw Mirlen throwing fireballs at the enemy forces. As the battle hit one hour I thought it was about time for me to get involved. So I throw up a Shield between Viper's men and the werewolves. At that moment my spirit was pulled out of my body. It scared me.
"what is going on?" I asked the one who had a hold of me.
"this is the spirit realm." He said. "Who are you and how did you get that strong?"
"I am Leon. Who are you?" I said
"I am Invir." He said
"What do you want?" I asked.
"I want to know how you got that strong." He said.
"I don't know what you mean." I said.
"The last person that was able to use that much magic was Vandalia. That was ten thousand years ago." He said.
"I don't know how I am able to use this amount of magic. I just started using magic. Mirlen taught me how to see magic and the crystal showed me how it works. But I didn't know I was that strong." I said. He lets go
"I will be watching you from this point on." He said as he left pushing me back into my body. As I got back into my body. I saw Mirlen with his hands on the shield. I lowered next to him.
"Can you take care of the wounded? I will take care of the werewolves." I said.
"yes. But what is this?" He said pointing at the shield.
"I will tell you later. We have a job to do right now." I said. As I began to surround the enemies with the shield. Making it just small enough so they are shoulder to shoulder. They are pounding on the shield. I could not hear what they were yelling. As I smiled I raised my hand feeling the Leader's soul leave his body. He stops pounding on the shield and falls to the ground. I raised both of my hands and felt all their souls leaving their bodies condensing above them into a small red gem. As they all fell I dropped the spell for the shield. The gem floated to me and came to rest in my hand.
"How are the wounded doing?" I ask, as I turn around.
"Just finished with the last one." Merlin said.
"Good. Can you tell me what exactly I made?" I asked, holding it out.
"I'm not sure. How did you get it?" he said, looking at it.
"I was trying to condense all of their souls into nothingness. And this is what I got instead." I said.
"Let me hold on to it so I can research what it is." hi said. So I handed it to him then heeded to Viper.
"Can I get some of you men to pull the fangs for me?" I asked.
"No problem, you just killed all of them. There were three thousand left." Viper said.
"Hey you guys pull all of the fangs." he yelled at the nearest group of guys.
"Thank you." I said.
"For all you did for us it is the least we can do." he said, smacking my shoulder.
As he heeded to Crush to talk about the battle that just took place. As I walked over to Merlin the ten guys walked up to me.
"Hre is the fangs that you asked for. What do you need them for?: the first one aked.
"I will be making swords out of them." I said, in reply. As I put them in my bag for later.
"So Merlin, what is next?" I asked.
"I'm not sure since this was supposed to take a week. Let us get back to camp." Merlin said, as he stood up to walk over to Viper and Crush. As I followed I couldn't help but feel kinda disappointed with how quick that was.
As we all walked back to camp I contemplated the encounter with the spirit. When we got back I found Viper which wasn't hard since He was in the center of the crowd.
"Can I talk to you for a minute, Viper?" I asked.
"Yes, what is it?" he said walking to his tent.
"I am just trying to figure out what I am doing. Since the battle is over and that was the whole reason I am here." I said.
"Yes well yeah that battle was predicted to take three days. But yeah." he said, throwing his hand up.
"If there is nothing else that you need me for. I am going to start planning the trip home." I said.
"Yes, well what about the money?" He asked.
"Well yeah I forgot. Do you have it here?" I asked.
"No not yet. I was going to pay you out of the money we got from the quest." He said.
"Are you up to finding me?" I asked.
"Yeah we can find you but it might be a while before we find you." He said. Chuckling.
"That is no problem. Here is a compass that will lead you to me." I said. Handing it to him.
As I was walking out of Viper's tent. I was looking for Mirlen as I walked to my tent. Not seeing him I tapped one of the shoulders of a guy I was going to pass.
"Can you send Merlin to my tent please." I asked
"Yes Leon." He said, saluting me. I continued to walk to my tent.
As I waited on Merlin in my tent. I was meditating. Hiring a really high pitch ringing I look around trying not to break my concentration and find where the ringing is coming from.
"You call for me?" Merlin said, breaking my concentration. Still unable to find out where the ringing is coming from.
"Yes, do you have other plans now that the battle is over?" I said.
"No, not at the moment." He said.
" can you use the door spell to my house?" I asked.
"Yes but what about the money?" He asked.
"I gave Viper a compass that leads to me." I said.
"Ok that is that." He said. Snapping his fingers. Then a door appeared next to him. As I step threw I appeared at the edge of my property. Seeing lily in the window. I quickly ran onto the trail into town. Getting to her parents house and Knocking on the door. her dad opened the door.
"Oh, it is good to see you." he said.
"Good to see you too, can you gather all the people in town and the priest, bring them out to my house please?" I asked. Gasping for breath.
"Yes I will, do you want the dager." he said.
"Yes." I said.
As I began the run back I thought about Lily and all that she means to me and how I am going to show that.as i got to the edge of the property i cast a spell that surrounds the house blocking the view out of the house. Snapping my fingers making ten long benches appeared on either side of the forge doors. Smiling and snapping agen making Her favorite flower papaver rhoeas appear in two rows leading to the forge doors from the front door of the house. At that moment the whole town showed up. setting them all on the benches having the prest stand in front of the forge doors. I ask her dad to bring her out down the flower path. As he goes to get her i snapp and extend the spell around the house down the path to the beginning of the benches.
As she coms out of the house i see all the time we were together. As she got to the edge of the spell i snapped and a dress that was white and had little pieces of fabric that looks like feathers making it poofy appeared on her and a black tuxedo on me. Breaking the spell she seeing all of it she started to cry.
