"Mike. Give me Salve."
Alaric looked at Mike. After appointing the man as the highest general in the country, Mike had done nothing but proven why he was the best choice.
A reward is what the defensive division head needed. And a reward is what Alaric called Mike into his office to give.
'I considered a few options, such as time off. But, we need him working right now. He seemed to like the Solar Descent... why don't I give him my most recent research as a reward?' Alaric thought.
"Yes sir."
Mike pushed his hand forward, and Salve hopped off of the man's finger, turning into a ring on Alaric's own.
"Salve, Mike has permission to use the array that I feed you next."
Alaric had Pamela engrave a formation on a card and fed it to Salve.
"Now, Mike. I'll explain the power I just gave you... and remember, only use it when you have a soul shard on hand!"
