A few days passed, with no notable events occurring. Alaric did note that the number of people coming into the town increased, but of course, this could be attributed to both the unification of the forest and the kids in the capital spreading rumors.
"Soon, the population will reach a soft cap, in the form of real estate available. I'll need to turn this town into a city. Thankfully, with Roni's help, I'm already seeing an increase in coin," Alaric thought.
Recently, Roni has been convincing wandering merchants and shop owners to do their business in Ooze Territory. The merchants in particular were rather grubby, constantly going to Alaric for better deals.
'Still, the profits we have incurred are enormous. With Roni setting up an entree fee, bringing in all sorts of businessmen, and my help in teaching the man the ways of tourist traps... I'd say our treasury has become rather full. I estimate my fortunes to be around 20,000 gold coins, and that's after days.'
