Alaric looked at the girl before him and sighed.
"Alright, Bonnie. Let's head to my office then?"
Bonnie looked a bit guilty after hearing Alaric's sigh but decided it was urgent enough to bother him.
"Yes, the office will do just fine," she said.
Soon, since both of them were ranked existences, they arrived at Alaric's temporary office. He had long since instilled a sound isolation formation, and most rooms in his castle had decent soundproofing capabilities in general, so he came here any time a subject seemed sensitive.
'Of course, it isn't full proof. Adeline can still eavesdrop. Meaning, anyone at rank-5 would have no trouble,' Alaric reminded himself. He would make sure to make the formations in his actual office much stronger.
There's no telling how many rank-5 and higher beings he would offend in the future.
