Subterfuge could be said to be the pillar of any qualified nation. Alaric's Ooze Village, although not worthy of even being called a town, would need its own information-gathering abilities soon.
'If I knew the Fen family was coming beforehand, there wouldn't have been a single issue in that battle...' Alaric noted.
But, this definitely wouldn't be the only benefit of the creation of a squadron of qualified spies.
Alaric's main goal in creating a spy ring would obviously be to rob others. In order to test the group he created, he would first target the formation guild.
'Of course, to make any progress, I need a qualified team in the first place.'
Right now, the only being Alaric had access to that was worthy of being a spy would be Sonic. Its speed alone was greater than any other. Still, Sonic was Alaric's right-hand slime, sending it off to do spy missions was simply a waste.
