Alaric had drawn about 70 wall growth formations. Each one held a soul-shard division child formation within. Once he drew a mother formation, he would be able to remotely grow the walls at any moment.
The distance between the mother and child formations was much too great, and if not handled properly, could affect every formation in his future city at once. So, Alaric added an "identifier formation" within.
'With an identifier formation, I can directly link 2 formations in an array using a code. Teaching Pamela to draw the formation with that code was especially difficult, but as long as two formations have the same code, they'll be inextricably linked. Now, the only issue is forming a mana pathway...'
Creating a mana pathway between 2 formations could be said to be especially difficult. Alaric, who only had a grasp on the fundamentals, and needed to establish 70 or so pathways, would struggle more than he ever had before.
