As the massive gates open a vile smell seeps through the crack of the doors and the party is met with the silhouette of a giant creature. Sora walks through first. "If you don't think you can handle this wait outside, I won't blame you." Zae follows after "I can't let some randoms have more fun than me." Faiko walks in after Zae. "You can't have fun if you're dead." Sepharoth and Xoni look at each other and nod.
When Sepharoth walks through he's met with a horrifying scene. Thousands of souls trying to escape this single room. Monster souls, human souls, and even the souls of the poor animals that wandered in by mistake. "So that's what happened to all of the souls." Amongst the countless souls, he saw the ghost of a beautiful woman with pink hair comforting the younger spirits. "Thankfully, she's the only spirit with pink hair." The doors begin to close behind the party. When the door finally shuts torches light up across the room. And the group is met with a blood-curdling scene, a giant pile of headless bodies, and a humungous troll standing right next to them.
Sora covers his mouth and holds his stomach with a shocked face. Zae looks at the pile in disgust and covers his mouth with his elbow. Xoni turns around and holds himself up with his staff. and Faiko throws up. Sepharoth gets into a battle position. "Prepare yourselves."
Xoni jolts around and looks at the troll in shock. "A troll, it shouldn't be that large, trolls could have mutations and whatnot but that's just not one of them, and it has a sword on its back trolls aren't even intelligent enough to make tools let alone use a sword." Xoni clicks his tongue. "What in the world is going on here."
The troll gets up and lets out a ground-shaking scream. "URRAAHHHHH!!" Faiko rushes in to strike first. "Let's do this!" Faiko slides between the troll's legs and slashes at its heels. The Troll "RWAHHHHHH!!" The Troll lifts its hand up and a brown magic circle appears above its palm. Xoni looks up in disbelief. "MAGIC?!?" Xoni jumps back in a panic. "Trolls shouldn't be able to use magic, not even goblins could and they're more than twice as intelligent, EVERYONE LOOK OUT FROM UNDER YOU!!"
Giant spikes of stone sprout out from beneath everyone, Zae manages to parry the spikes with his shield, Xoni creates a barrier around himself, Sepharoth also creates a barrier, Sora jumps out of the spikes' reach, and Faiko gets grazed on his chest.
"YOU STUPID-" the troll slams its palm on Faiko cutting off his sentence. But before it could reach Zae charged his shield with ice magic and throws it at the troll's hand making it strong enough to knock the Trolls hand away. Zae laughs at Faiko. "And you told me not to die!" Faiko rolls away and lauphs. "Yeah yeah I owe you one." Zae jumps at the troll aiming straight for its eyes while Sora jumps at it from behind its head.
"BLIZZARD SERIES VOLUME ONE!" Zae's sword begins to glow a bright white color and ice shards form around his sword "CRAZY BLIZZARD BLADE COMBO!!!" Zae lets out numerous ferocious strikes and with each strike, ice shards are thrown, but the troll covers its eyes using its hand and then smacks Zae into a wall, as Zae flies into the wall the troll creates stone pillars adding more damage, Zae flies into the wall.
"Sukimaru style." lighting begins to spark out of Sora's eyes and body. Sora puts both of his hands together and electricity begins to come and concentrate into one point between his hands. "MJÖLNIR!!!!" A loud "BANG!" Goes through the room and a bright flash blinds everyone, the flash settles and all that's seen is the troll slowly getting up from the ground.
"I won't let you." Sepharoth sends his two goblins to rush at the troll and they start clawing it on the top of its head "Flame of the Lands Between, strengthen my allies and give them your power." The goblin's hands burst into green flames and they start clawing at the troll with much more force and ferocity. The troll lets out a loud wail "RAUGHHHGGHHHHHHHH!"
The troll gets up and grabs the two goblins. The troll glares at sepharoth violently. It throws the goblins at sepharoth. When the goblins hit Sepharoth he grabs Sepharoth throws him up and punches him into a wall. "Be careful this thing hits hard, my body can't take much more but goblins are still here."
"Seventh Symphony: Scarlet Lotus Homage; Mezzo Forte." A spiral of flame comes from Xoni's staff and goes hurling toward the troll's chest. The troll blocks it with its arm and lets out a pained roar "UAHHHHHHHHH!!"
The troll lifts up its hands and magic circles appear in its palm. Spikes of stone appear all across the ground then fly out and target everyone.
"Ok, I'm sick of this." Zae grabs his blade and the area begins to drop in temperature. He dodges all of the earth's spikes and snow begins to fall. Everything about him goes calm, his usual loud and jumpy demeanor goes calm, his blade glows and the temperature plummets "Forest Blade: Winter."
A rose made of ice appears on his blade hilt, and the vines and thorns surround his blade. Zae begins to twist, turn, jump, and frolic elegantly. Such a beautiful dance, everyone watched in awe because it was Zae performing it. It was the last thing one can imagine him doing. But with each movement, a slash was made and each slash left a white streak on the troll.
"Snow Angel's Brilliant Blade Dance." As Zae put his blade away multiple white blades covered in roses and vines appear from the white streaks left on the troll. The troll drops to the floor while wailing in pain.
The wailing stops.
Zae sighs and looks at the party. "You guys never saw that." Faiko points and laughs "I DIDN'T KNOW MAGIC KNIGHTS WERE DANCERS!" Faiko falls to the floor in laughter "MAGIC KNIGHT MY ASS!" Sora steps in. "We should just be glad it's dead." Right as Sora utters those words immense pressure is felt, stopping everyone in their tracks.
A loud deep voice begins to speak. "You…." The troll slowly and menacingly rises. "You have done well to push me to this point." The troll stands up and grabs the sword on its back. "To awaken the true me." It pulls out the blade and stabs it into the floor.
"I am Hogar Brimborne." He puts his hand over his head and a helmet of stone forms around his head.
"And I will be your demise."
