As they passed through the elven streets, Leo noticed that he was the not only one that receive those looks from the elves, because at times he would see an elf or two given Elena a mocking grin. Leo couldn't help but wonder if all these was caused just because she brought two humans into the Elven territory.
But even with everything she was receiving from the crowd, Elena face remained stoic and in expressionless seemingly unaffected by the crowds reaction.
At some point, Elena glanced at him and sighed: "This is going to be hard... But you have to endure"
Leo nodded in response. He'd be lying if he said that he wasn't affected in the slightest by the look he was receiving all because he is a human.
He looked at Elena and said, "Is it only because of the betrayal that makes all elves hate humans this much..."
