Daniel couldn't take his eyes off Tara. She was stunning
She wore a blue gown with an off shoulder.The gown was decorated with small pearls that looked a lot like snowflakes.
She wore a simple yet beautiful necklace and blue heels to accentuate the dress.
"Wow" Daniel marvelled with his mouth open.
"Thanks" Tara said meekly
"Who says "wow" to a girl?I thought you were a keeper, Daniel" Joyce said
"Mum!" Tara turned to her mum
"Oops sorry sweetie,I'm leaving" Joyce apologized as she kissed Tara on the cheek."If it's okay with you,I'd like to talk to Daniel"
Tara looked at her mum warily then nodded.
"I'll be waiting outside" Tara said to Daniel
"Okay" Daniel nodded
"What is your problem?" Joyce said after Tara left.
"Ma'am?"
"Don't ma'am me.You need to make her feel like a million dollars".Joyce said, sitting down."You like her،, don't you?"
Daniel wanted to refute ,but he saw Joyce's eyes were fixed on him.
"She'd know if I'm lying" Daniel thought.
"Yes,I do" Daniel said truthfully.
"Then make her see that"
"I told her" Daniel said
"And?"
"She said she was going to be in a neutral zone,whatever that means"
Joyce sighed."You've never had a girlfriend,right?"
"Yes" Daniel nodded solemnly
"I see why" Joyce rose and walked to him.She placed a hand on his shoulder."The fact that she's neutral means she is giving you a chance"
Daniel gasped softly.He didn't know that
"What should I do?"
"God! You're hopeless" Joyce said with a smile."You have to prove to her that you're worthy of standing next to her.Make her happy;Make her laugh okay?"
"Yes ma'am"Daniel replied."Thanks"
He said before leaving the house.
Joyce palmed her face and sighed deeply."I'm pretty sure he didn't get what I meant"
"What took you so long?" Tara asked
"Nothing" Daniel said stiffly
"Okay" Tara eyed him.
"So,where is this place?" Daniel asked as they walked in silence.
"It's just around the corner" Tara pointed at a duplex.
Daniel could see people converging in front of the house.People he thought couldn't pull off the formal look surprised him beyond measure.
Frank ,who usually looked like a fat homeless teenager, pulled out all the stops as he came into view with a black suit.
"Who's our host?"
"A girl but I don't know her name"
"Your classmates are stinking rich.This might be the biggest house yet" Daniel marvelled as he stood in front of the house."This looks more like an hotel than a house"
"It is" A voice replied from behind.
Daniel and Tara turned to see who replied.
"Hi" A girl dressed in a beautiful black gown with small pearls lined around it waved."I'm suzume ,and I'm your host"
Daniel became more interested as she said her name.
"Suzume is a Japanese name".Daniel thought.He had never met a Japanese before.
"And before you ask,I'm not japanese.My parents just like Japanese names"
Daniel's expression fell ,but he hid it well.
"I'm sure I invited you" Suzume pointed to Tara."But I don't recall inviting the single nerd"
"Hey!" Tara said."I invited him"
"But—".Suzume didn't complete her sentence because someone called her from the crowd."Hope you enjoy the party" She gave her wave before leaving.
"I don't think I should be here" Daniel spoke.
"No, we're going together" Tara replied him
Daniel didn't know if she meant it or just wanted him to feel better.
The doors opened and everyone walked into a grand dancehall.
Hung from the ceiling was a large chandelier that lit up the room dimly.
"That light's really dim" Daniel voiced softly
"It's supposed to be like that".Tara replied.
She really liked the atmosphere of the dancehall.
"Hello" Suzume greeted on the stage.The dim light reflected off the little pearls on her dress."Thank you for coming to my party ,and I hope you have a great time"
"She seems nice" Tara thought.
She looked to her side but Daniel wasn't there."Where could he have gone too"
Julian looked at Tara from afar.He desperately wanted to be with her ,but for some reasons,he couldn't.
"Damn bro" The gang converged around him.
"You should go talk to her" Joey patted his shoulder.
"What do you mean?" Julian said,trying to play cool.
"Don't" Eddie warned."We know"
"Who told you?" Julian sighed
"We figured it out" Bruce replied
Julian stifled a laugh as he stared at Bruce
"Fine,it was Chris"
"Now, that I can believe"
"Couldn't believe you didn't tell us ,bro" Joey said
"Sorry,we wanted to make it secret"
"Secret to the point of keeping it from your bros.That's deep man".Joey replied
"I'm sorry" Julian said solemnly.
"Do you know why she broke up with you?" Chris asked
"She kept saying I hurt her in some way ,but I don't really know what I did"
"Then go ask her man" Bruce said."She's just over there" He pointed to Tara who was still looking for Daniel.
"Okay, Here goes nothing" Julian took a deep breath before walking in Tara's direction."Hey" He said to Tara
Tara was surprised,but she managed to reply."Hey"
"Uhm so.I know this is really weird but I would like to know the reason you broke up with me" Julian said,leading her to the seats then sitting.
"Well,It's because of one thing and that is—" Tara was interrupted by howls and shouts from the people at the door.
"Who's that" Tara asked Julian
"Beats me" Julian replied.
After a few seconds,a voluptuous girl strode into the hall.She wore a skin tight dress with a plunging V neck that threatened to show her boobs.The dress accentuated her every curve.It only reached her laps but she didn't seem to care.It made her sexy legs bask in the dim light.Her huge boobs stood firm as they attracted all the males' attention.
"You've got to be kidding me" Julian muttered as he left Tara's side and went to Cassandra's.

Julian gritted his teeth as he held her by the arm and led her outside.

"What are you wearing ,and why are you wearing it?"
"Well,if you must know" Cassandra started."It's a limited edition dress.I got it from a rising brand in this country"
"I don't care.Why are you wearing it?"
