Chapter 104 - Snow

Daniel woke up on Christmas Eve to the lovely sight of snowflakes falling.

He hurriedly dashed to the window and peered outside.

The entire neighborhood looked like it was painted white.Heaps of snow covered the roofs and floors of the entire town.

"Snow" Daniel marvelled. He didn't bother showering as he raced out of the house and sat on the balcony.

He stared at the dagger-like icicles that hung from houses.

For as long as he could remember, snow was the one thing that made him happy.

Just a picture of it would be enough to get him going.

Today was the Christmas party ,and he was somewhat happy.

Daniel found himself gradually liking the idea of stepping out of his house.

Which ,to him, was a step forward. He wanted to come out of his comfort zone and try new things.

Elsewhere,Despite the teeth chattering cold,Two people were still feeling the heat.

"Good morning" Cassandra said, waking Julian up with a passionate kiss.

"Morning"  Julian groaned

"I hope last night was to your standards" Cassandra rose

"More than" Julian smiled, staring at her backside.

"You could always have more" Cassandra smirked, knowing full well he was staring at her.

"As tempting as that sounds,I'll have to pass" Julian rose

"Why?" Cassandra turned and looked at him with a pout on her lips. She tried to avert her eyes from his muscular torso but couldn't.

His perfectly toned abs aroused her.

"Today's the Christmas party remember?" Julian said, occasionally glancing at her boobs."Aren't you coming?"

"Do you want me to come?" Cassandra said sexily

"Uhm I guess. But no funny business"

"Whatever do you mean?" Cassandra said, feigning ignorance.

"You know what I mean" Julian said pointedly.

"Hmph" Cassandra pouted as she walked to the bathroom.

"Maybe she's mad" Julian thought.

"Julian" Cassandra's voice came from the bathroom

"Yeah?" Julian replied

"Can you come in?"

"Uhm why?" Julian asked.if whatever Cassandra said wasn't important,he was leaving

He didn't want to get caught up in her net again.

"This is a bit embarrassing, but I kind of slipped and fell"

"Well,can't you get up?"

"I'm afraid not.My body's all lathered with soap"

Julian's little brother rose with a slight tug after hearing Cassandra.

"Do I have to?"

"Yes!"

"Ugh" Julian groaned,entering the bathroom

Her bathroom was huge;it was about half the size of his room.

The bathroom floor was exquisitely tiled as the lights reflected off of it.To his right was a huge mirror lined with stands that housed a number of expensive cosmetic product.

Julian's eyes canvassed the room from left to right searching for a big chested girl.

His eyes landed on her

"How did this happen?" Julian asked, his eyes staring at her boobs lathered with soap.

"I wanted to get my shampoo"

"Why didn't you take it from the start?"

"Didn't think of that" Cassandra pouted.

"Here" Julian said,outstretching his arm.

Cassandra refused his gesture

"What's wrong now?"

"You have to carry me up"

"The hell" Julian exclaimed. He knew if his body touched Cassandra's.He would not get home on time.

Cassandra watched the conflicting emotions flash through his eyes. She didn't want Julian to go home;she wanted him all to herself.

"Alright" Julian muttered, taking a huge breath."Be strong Julian"

Julian grabbed a towel and laid it on her upper body. This way Cassandra's boobs wouldn't distract him.

"Ready" Julian crouched and carried her up.He didn't know what happened, but the towel loosened on Cassandra

"Crap" Julian muttered. He could already feel her boobs on his bare chest.

Cassandra smirked naughtily. She subtly pushed her boobs to his bare chest.

"Julian" She breathed softly in his ear.

"Calm down Julian.Just put her down and get the hell out of here" Julian thought.

He set her down gently, turned, and headed for the door.

Cassandra huffed. She couldn't believe he was refusing her.

"Julian?" Cassandra called out, stopping him in his tracks.

"I'll be seeing you at the party" Julian said, not bothering to hear what she wanted to say.

He closed the door behind him ,and took a deep breath.

It felt good refusing her.

He gathered his things and left her house only to see a blanket of white covering every surface in sight.

"Snow" Julian smiled lightly

Tara didn't know what to do.She was glad Daniel told her of his feelings, but she didn't think of him that way.

"Telling him that would literally break him" Tara sighed, staring out the window.

She had to tell him regardless of the consequences.

"I'll text him" Tara said, grabbing her phone

"Tara!" Her mom called

"Ugh, coming mom" Tara groaned, leaving her room."Yeah?"

"Can you help me return this book?"

"Sure" Tara replied,taking the book.

She hastily ran to her room to grab her coat and phone then ran out the door.

"Maybe this is for the best" Tara said, making her way to the library."Fate perhaps? I would've liked to tell him on the phone ,but I guess in person also works" Tara muttered.

She was fairly certain that Daniel would be in the library. After all,it seemed like his entire life revolved around that place.

Tara got to library with much difficulty. She underestimated the level of snow on the ground.

She brushed the snow off her coat before walking into the library.

Tara subtly scanned the library for any sign of Daniel.

Her eyes instinctively darted to his normal sitting position, but he wasn't there.

"Can I help you" The librarian said

"Oh yeah,My mum recently borrowed this book, and I'm here to return it" Tara said, giving the librarian her ticket.

"Thank you" The librarian said

Tara walked out of the library and turned to walk back home ,but a voice in her mind kept disturbing her to tell Daniel.

"Fine" Tara turned and walked in the direction of Daniel's house.

She had to walk a lot until she reached his house, finding him sitting on his balcony in his pyjamas. He appeared to be doing a lot of thinking as he didn't notice her until she spoke

"What are you doing?"

"Tara?!" Daniel exclaimed."What are you doing here?"

"Never mind that,Why are you in your pyjamas"

"Because this is my house" Daniel said

"Still doesn't make what you're doing sensible"

Daniel sighed."Would you like to come in?"

"Depends"

"On?"
